Afternoon ladies and random lurking men?
Quiet on here today isn't it.

    Well done magic!!

Am I the only person who has to equate weight loss into another object eg this week I lost 5lb that's a small new born baby - 2lb is roughly a bag of sugar and so on and so forth?

Having a feeling meh day today - my friend who I started sw with who has binned me off and avoids me quite a bit lately, goes to another group now etc has put on fb that she's jealous of my losses each week? So basically she's not my friend now coz I'm losing more than her each week? Even though I've got 3 x the amount of total weight to lose than her :( feeling blue :(

Anyone fancy posting a new recipe for me to try this weekend :(
Missing froggas daily menus infact I just like nosing at people's daily menus full stop

    Hexa- cheese n milk
Hexb- ryvita minis (great for the crisp addict in me!)
Drinks - nas squash, Pepsi max, tea

Breakfast- a nectarine? (Not sure what it was was in my slimmer of the week bowl)
Lunch- 1/2 pack of pasta and sauce, left over roast chicken, peas and pickled onions - need more super free will snack in a bit
Dinner- spag Bol with hexa cheese on top
Might buy some frozen fruit later to have for pudding/supper???
Bit low on super frees I know :(
Syns - sugar in tea probably choc tonight

I find the mix of people on this thread really inspiring :)
Thank you for everyone who posts xxx
Started sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

New Year New You Challenge - /6lb
  • Hi Mildredd!
here's my menu, just for you!
Breakfast- shreddies and milk (HEX A and B)
Lunch- mushroom omlette (made for me by my lovely Mum!)
Dinner - I am making a SW curry wih rice

For my syns I will have 2 hi-fi Bars (I love the Rocky Roads) 6 syns and see if I can keep it at that!
I have been sneaking a few chocolates in work lately so have to try to be good today whilst working from home. (AKA putting my feet up watching loose women and going on the internet!)
Sorry about your friend, I have heard of this weight loss jealousy!! Hard to take when you are offering your support to her but that's all you get in return, I think we all have these frenemies! I had a friend who always took great pleasure when my skin broke out (a regular event even now in my 40's) nowt so queer as folk!
Sod her! keep on losing the weight just to spite her (that's very mature of me!)
Also wanted to say to Nessie , CONGRATULATIONS!!!, sorry I am late with my congrats- Your baby is sooo beautiful!! She has made me quite broody.

It's ben quiet, cause I haven't been here! I've been so far off the wagon, I'm just a distant dot. I can't seem to get my head in gear even though I only have 2lbs to my Club 10 & 4lbs until my 2stone award. I REALLY want this, so why can't I focus? I'm hoping that after this weekend (birthday party for 5 2yr olds on Sat, dd's christening on Sun & packing for hols on Monday), that I'll get back onto it & with lots of walking in Yorkshire, maybe I'll lose that for the week after next?

    Evening all :)
I just been out to do my body magic - 2.5 miles round the village - and the heavens opened when I was halfway round  good job I thought to put my waterproof on so at least it wasn't so bad. Not doing bike tonight - I was wet and cold when I got in so I just wanted to crawl into my snuggly fleece jammies - so I have! :D Cant wait to be able to put my new Lipsy jammies and dressing gown on (thank you goes to my OH for these :j) on Friday.
Bags are all packed to go to my Mum's - honestly you would think I was going for a month not a week :rotfl: I have a big wheeled holdall that is literally bursting at the seams, another wheeled bag and an overnight bag which are both also bursting at the seams!! Spoke to Mum earlier and she said she's bought me all sorts of lovely SW-friendly goodies - she's making me a quiche, and an SW birthday carrot cake for Friday ;) and some other lovely things. I'm quite looking forward to my SW chips as well - she's got one of those machines that make them?? (Not terribly articulate I know but I have no idea what they're called :rotfl:)
Here you go Mildredd and for anyone else interested - this is today's menu :)
B: 1 x slice wholemeal bread toasted (HEXB) with an exact tsp of spread ;) (2 syns) beans, ham, and an apple. Cup of coffee with HEXA s/s and pint of NAS cordial with mineral water
    L: Mixed leaves with tuna and f/f vinegarette, banana;
Snack: Ham, more cordial and water in my sports bottle
T: Tesco Lighter Choices Chilli con Carne and rice (9 syns) steamed mixed veg, steamed baby new potatoes, Turkish Delight Mullerlight
    S: Chicken and sweetcorn MugShot.
    Total syns: 11
    Hope everyones ok xxx
