My dd gets all excited when we walk into the place where our group is I think she prefers it to baby group
Had a quick read of the body magic booklet and I think I'm going to go for the bronze award during the pudding challenge give me something to focus on and work towards - although the booklet says 15mins walk - my c when questioned said u had to raise heartbeat significantly so a jog etc? Hmm I might just map out a walk to a set distance and do that instead? Ideas anyone?
Will ask my consultant on Monday about it to get a proper answer plus I want a shiny sticker for doing it
Having a free food lunch, will see how I go then attempt to get back on with a sw dinner and hopefully get back on the wagon from this bug.Started sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Hadn't decided on my syns when I posted earlier but really fancied cake - so I've just made a SW carrot cake (no scan bran involved!). It's 5 syns for the whole cake and it's cooked in the microwave so only takes a few minutes to cook. Am just waiting for it to cool down and then I'll put the topping on it and have a piece with my cup of tea when DH gets home in about 20 minutes.

Just had a slice and it's not bad. I think the orange flavour in it isn't really necessary so will leave it out next time. I think I got the recipe from "minimims" website.
SW carrot cake
Cake
125g quark
100g grated carrot
28g smash
9g sweetener
3 eggs
2 tbsp mincemeat
4 tsps. mixed spice
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp orange flavouring (I used little orange juice as I hadn't got flavouring)
Topping
2 tbsp. sweetener
125g quark
1 tsp orange flavouring
Mix all the cake ingredients together. Spray a 7" dish with frylight and put the cake mixture in there and microwave on full power for about 8-10 minutes. Just keep checking, the cake shouldn't have any liquid left on the top and it should be springy to the touch. When cooked turn the cake out and cool on a cooling rack.
While the cake is cooling mix together the topping ingredients and keep in the fridge. When the cake is cool spread the topping on and cut into 5 slices. Each slice works out as 1 syn each.
I only cooked my cake for 6 minutes as I have a 900 watt microwave - I think the timings are probably for a 650 watt microwave so you'll need to judge it for your own microwave.

Evening all
Thanks everyone for your kind wordsbeen a bit of a busy day today. I've been to college today to see my NVQ tutor and she's really lovely, we did a few questions towards my optional units and it was good to get them out of the way.
I then went for a nice long walk - from the college to the local Morrisons, round Morrisons and then into the town centre, and I even got off the bus 4 stops earlier and walked the rest of the way to make a total of 2.5 miles of Body Magic
knee is ok today so I'm going on the bike after this. I cant believe I walked to Morrisons - since I started SW I've been walking a lot more and before I would never have dreamed of walking there - I'd have called a taxi!!!
Have also had a very good day today.
B: HEXB measured portion of Fruit and Fibre with HEXA s/s milk, cup of coffee with HEXA s/s;
L: Was an absolutely gorgeous fresh salad from Morrison's salad bar - lettuce, cherry tomatoes, peppers, cucumber cubes, sweetcorn, beetroot, onions - red and spring - and 2 boiled eggs with my own fat free vinegarette dressing, and Uncle Ben's special golden vegetable microwave rice (2.5 syns) then I had a HiFi Light Rocky Road (3 syns) and a pint of NAS cordial with mineral water;
T: Tesco Lighter Choices Salmon and Broccoli Pie (2 syns) with steamed cauli and broccoli, steamed baby new potatoes. Pudding was a bag of Tesco Everyday Value frozen fruit salad (apple, melon, grape, pineapple, mandarin) with vanilla Mullerlight and a pint of NAS cordial and mineral water.
Supper will be a chicken and sweetcorn MugShot, some cherry tomatoes and some ham.
Total for today 7.5 syns :j
Better get on that bike now then...!!*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200
