Hi all congratulations to everyone I have quickly read so if I leave out anyone I'm so sorry Nessie what a loss congratulations Skint Catt well done you must be really pleased it's going in the right direction good for you

Mrs R the amount of exercise you do is brilliant good for you

I lost 5.5 lbs I am over the moon really really pleased with that and I am one lb off my club 10 and 3 off 1.5 stone so aiming for three next week

We are having another food tasting next week and a new consultant 3rd one in 12 weeks !!!
I am starting my body magic bit to give me an extra boost cos like mentioned earlier in the thread today my consultant does skim over it as well but it can only raise the metabolic rate and help the weight loss and help some bit

Sorry if I am sounding like the cat that got the cream but I am so chuffed re the 5.5 lbs

By the way we are having a weigh in probably Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve even a weigh and go and in some ways (weighs ;-). ) for me that would probably do me a bit of good not sure how others feel about it or if their class is on holiday over the festivities

Exercise all good Mrs R but don't overdo it & take care of your knee.
    Magic~Great loss.
Our class is a Thur so would be Boxing day.I personally feel it is unfair to have to take a holiday or pay if not there.

Hi beanie I agree with you re having to take a holiday and or pay and am really surprised to be honest that our one is on at all as most people are away socialising busy etc in that time and If it came to a vote in class I am certain most people would say no class christmas week and week after as let's face it any other class you do if you in college school evening class etc they all off at that time I was surprised I must admit but bearing in mind muggins is the very one to usually say something I thought it better to leave it to one of the others problem was I think they were hoping I'd say it ;-)

Is it definitely on? That does surprise me! We've had one between xmas & new year but that was a weigh & go - I can't remember what happened if you couldn't make it, though it was before the computerised system. Maybe an email to SW HO to clarify the situation may be in order?

The situation is that SW classes are on 52 weeks of year.
If you choose not to go then you either take a holiday or pay back fees.
I believe that if your consultant chooses to have it on another day if your class is really close to public holidays then you don't have to pay.
It's all ££££'s as far as I can see & consultant's have no say in it AFAIK.

Our class is a Monday so it will miss both public holidays. Still I would have thought there would have been some leeway???
Thanks for your concern, beanie. I'm taking it easy but it seems to have eased while I'm doing Body Magic. I've had problems with it since I was a teenager but the doctors have said operating will cause more problems than not so I just have to put up with it really :( they also said exercise should help ease it and it has - I didn't go on the bike Monday which helped. Im going to my Mum's on Thursday though which will break my routine a bit - Mum has a bike that I usually use and I'm planning to use my pedometer app when I go out so it's not like I'll be totally sedentary but I will be more than usual ;)

We were told that Body Magic can be any exercise that is in excess of what you'd do ordinarily, so nothing about jogging counting over walking. Some of the ladies at my group are over 80!! The you just build on it from Bronze upwards.

Some great positivity on here tonight.:T magic, not surprised you're going on about it. 5.5lbs. Wow!!

I ended up with half (small half;)) of a cheese and ham toastie today. We were out and stopped for a cup of tea and I couldn't resist sharing DH's.:o So gravy got cancelled with our supper to keep the syns down.

Tomorrow DH has arranged for us to take his aunt out for lunch. We've not seen her in ages so determined to enjoy it. Probably won't show by Thursday's WI and maybe I can cancel it out by next week. Live in hope.
