Congratulations Nessie!:D
Frogga - Congratulations also - you are doing really really well!:D
Shala Moo - I totally feel your pain. I have major work issues at the minute too (have been since the day and hour I started). Unfortunately its not going to change for me until I find a new job (easier said that done in this current climate). I ended up crying on Saturday night out of frustration.
TIE - Sorry to hear about Mum - big hugs
So anyway here we are week 5 of our challenge. I have to say I can't wait to get stuck into the Christmas one and hopefully see those numbers go down on the scales.
As per usual I am trying to pull it back after the weekend. A few bottles of beer and a packet of crisps namely!
Good luck to all this week
Oh meant to say re Christmas. I'm going to give myself Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Eve off. The rest of the time I will be sticking to plan.
I live on my own so I won't have much temptation in the house and go to my parents Christmas Day & Boxing Day.
I will be off work for over a week so plan to do plenty of walking to counteract whats going into my mouth.
My downfall will probably be alcohol, when I'm off I see it as an excuse to have a little tipple and watch films and tv long into the night. Though we are allowed to enjoy ourselves too - so hoping Christmas doesn't do too much damage for us all!:rotfl:0 -
Really struggling this week.
I was going to be so good yesterday but again went over syns:(. My own fault for not planning properly! I ended up having some crackling (7), 1 Tbs gravy (1) and 2 glasses of wine (12) so 20 syns:eek:, Must do better today.
B - mushroom omlette
L - baked beans on toast; pineapple pieces
D - Using up the LO pork from yesterday by making some spiced pork patties, SW wedges & salad with FF dressing
HEA - ss milk
HEB - WM bread x 2
Snacks - fruit - have only got pineapple, banana & apples left until tomorrow
Back on the wagon with the syns - no more wine until next weekend!
Syns - Magic Stars (3.5)

New Year New You Challenge - /6lb0 -
Oooo! thanks nessie, she's really lovely and sleeping too!:)
Brilliant losses so far. I know we'd all like a better loss every week than we get but please celebrate all losses.;)
I think the walking plan for over Christmas break is an excellent one lantanna. We tend to spend too much time indoors with the heating up high, eating and drinking far too much so fresh air and exercise is good.
denise, I always think the pork crackling is almost impossible to resist. Every time I do pork I struggle. I know I should throw it in the bin but it's sooo hard.
Back on plan for me today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, scrambled eggs, HEA milk for teas
L: vegetable soup or maybe just fruitbaked cod, new potatoes, cauli&broccoli cheese, green beans
Syns: squirt of sauce on eggs, cheese sauce
As I'm typing my dinner I'm changing my mind. I think I'll just do some tomatoes and mushrooms with the green beans. The cauli/broccoli can wait until tomorrow. I don't need the syns in cheese sauce this week.;)0
