I wish peas and corn where super free :(

Me too! :( I think they probably will be in the next 'revamp' of SW - at the end of the day they are just veg & you're not going to gain weight by eating a normal portion of them! :o

Have you tried any A Girl Called Jack recipes? They saved me a fortune last month & was fun trying them & they were mostly SW friendly with a few tweaks.

Will have a look into that - thanks :T

Muffins sound yummy denise, let us know how you get on.
They were quite nice but it was a very wet mixture but they firmed up once they cooled down a bit. Still have about 8 left. Told my DD that I'd made them and as she's coming to see me tomorrow she asked me not to eat them all so she can taste them!

I think this is a brilliant website and some really nice and cheap recipes on there. My favourite is the posh mushroom chasseur - and it's full of SFs, as well.

    Hi everyone

I had my weigh in this morning and I lost 1 lb

I am happy with that but won't meet my 10lb target for the challenge. At least the weight is going in the right direction, down :D

Bacon & Brie risotto or Courgette, Brie & Tomato Gratin are my faves - who knew 'Brie' could be so cheap/go so far! I really want to try the Lentil & Spinach Dhal or the red lentil bolognese.

    My menu so far today;
B; white toast with real butter (7 syns?)
    L; dd's kinder bar :o (3.5syns)
D; curry as per before ( syns)

Ah well. All I've wanted to do is sleep today, but DD won't let me :(

Sorry for not being around.. I think i'll be dropping out of this challenge, but i'll join the next if that's ok.. i'll keep the list going and be a cheerleader for everyone though!:j

I'm having a proper stressful time at work at the moment :( long hours, stressiness all day, crying on the way home etc - so my willpower is lower than it's ever been, and unfortunately when we work long hours we have tea bought for us which of course comes from the local takeaways.. this week we've had pizza twice and fish & chips once.

I'm disappointed in myself because I started the week well and the first few days i'd actually lost weight but no doubt by the time I weigh on Sunday it'll be more on and then some..

Anyway misery over.. i'll keep to plan on the days I can and on the days I cant, well i'll try and manage to keep it down to a certain level.

Soz for the long post, but I didn't want to just disappear after the support you guys give xx I've got a few weeks to buck up my ideas and get myself back in the zone before the Christmas Challenge!!

Rubbish day here - it was going on alright until after dinner, when I had a glass )or two of wine and then a whole host of bad, bad, snacks.

    Argh.

    Well, start again tomorrow.
Actually, I'm off on holiday for a week tomorrow, so I'll check back in then, hopefully without too many pounds on top!
    Trying to keep in budget.
