Hi all!
my friend brought my rocky road hi fi bars round last night, they are so nice!! I like that they are small but really satisfied my chocolate craving, so it's true what they say size isn't everything! (Sorry couldn't resist!)
Thanks for offering to get me some Beanie, you're so kind.
Can I just ask Mrs Ryan and TIE who is Austin Healy? I have heard of him but can't think who he is
Sorry to hear about your chldren being poorly- Travellinglight and Midredd :grouphug:(big hugs)
Yes Frogga, hate the unwanted comments, I got one the other day- you have lots weight, haven't you? I can tell you always get a scrawny neck!! (this from my mother!) - I am laughing now as I type it so I'm not really that bothered!!
Lastly Maman on the leggings- I love my leggings! I wear them with a long top or jumper and pumps, I think I am too old really but I don't care!
Hope you all have a great evening.0 -

I know I should be nicer TIE, and I'm totally sure she has all the best intentions when going on and on and on but you would think she would take the hint when I just fob her off and say 'oooo I don't like to talk bout it'!
I have said I find it very personal, and I don't like to talk about it because I have issues, but she says 'oh yes oh yes, and then does it again!!!
I think a punch in the face is in order
Frogga I agree with you, think I would have punched her already. I think I would know when to shut up [hope I would anyway] and your colleague has over stepped the mark on more than one occasion so I think she must be really thick not to realise you're not happy with her comments. Punch away :rotfl:Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hmm wonder if I can get Anglia News on t'internet
You shouldn't be too hard to spot!
Friends cooking for us tomorrow night, but I know she's losing weight at the moment too, so fingers crossed it won't be too disasterous. Only just sat down to have my dinner as hubby phoned & he's still in the office so will just grab a sarnie. Ah well.

Maman - I fry light onions in a pan for on top of burgers
but then I use my hexb bread slices as a bun so its close to what I'd get from a burger van
I was saying to my non sw friend last night I feel a bit of a fraud on sw as instead of doing all new recipes I just try to adapt what I normally eat to being sw friendly ?
I did a big pile of fried onions with our burgers tonight. I don't miss bread as I don't like the usual burger buns so I'm used to them 'plain'.
I tend to adapt recipes too although I occasionally try some from the magazines.
Thanks for the soup recipe denise, I'll definitely try it. :Ton putting on so little on holiday, you'll soon be back on target.
Hope all goes well tomorrow tie:)0 -
Hiya
Yesterday was an interesting day... I was naughty and blew all my syns on a sandwichbut it was a very lovely M&S sandwich
I also had my first session of cognitive behaviour therapy and finally might have an idea about what's wrong with me - it seems my therapist thinks I may have PTSD. Makes a lot of sense really but now they can do something about it which is good.
Thursday's menu:
B: Spaghetti hoops on HEXB wholemeal toast, banana, vanilla Mullerlight, cup of coffee with HEXA s/s milk
S: Cup of coffee with HEXA milk
L: Said sandwichM&S Count on Us Egg Salad sandwich (14.5 syns!!) bottle of M&S still Scottish mineral water, banana
T: Tesco Lighter Choices Salmon and Broccoli Pie (2 syns) steamed baby new potatoes, steamed carrots and steamed cauli florets, mixed fruit salad made from 2 x kiwi, orange and apple with vanilla Mullerlight; pint of NAS cordial with mineral water.
Supper: Chicken Mugshot and some cherry tomatoes.
Total syns: 16.5 (not bad, only 1.5 over!!)
