I don't like Hobnobs for that roughness so they'd be safe from me, but I am VERY partial to a choc digestive :o

What about breaking that 10lbs down even further - say 2lbs to that half a stone mark on the scales (say you weigh 11, 9 then revise to 5lbs to the next half stone award) or aim for 7 pounds loss in 3 weeks & go all out for a short period (then another 'short' burst, then another)? I've got 4.5lbs to my next half stone mark on the scales, so I hope to get 2.5lbs to break the back of it this week, then 2 to get the week after.

    C xx

Thanks for the helpful ideas, I will try to do it that way, and thanks for not being scornful at me moaning over a small target.
    have a good week yourself.

My little neice and I had fun making choc covered strawberries today, after being in the fridge for a while, they were delish. so I ate too many:)
Also had sausages and bread for supper- in all 4 bread today-oops!
apart from that, I didnt have any proper meals. I reckon this weeks loss is a fraction of a lb, serves me right:D

Why is it so important to drink lots of water?
I dont drink very much at all .

First weigh in today. Not sure how I've done. I was fairly good all week apart from when my 14 yr old made 5 minute chocolate cake last night :o
But I did do lots of gardening yesterday, so I'm hoping that will balance it out :p

Have a funeral today so doing a slow cooked leg of lamb in the slow cooker and will cook some boiled potatoes and veg when I get home.

Not sure what else I'll eat.

I was abit naughty yesterday. My dad brought me back a fresh cornish pasty from his holiday and i scoffed it!! large cornish pasty is apparently 29 syns!!!

    so yesterday was

    b - wholemeal bread with dairylea hea&b
l - tilda biriyani pouch 3.5syns with tomatoes added
    d - cornish pasty 29 syns!
    snacks - strawberries, grapes

today i am trying to be really good to make up for it but i am going to Zizzi tonight - any ideas what is the best thing to eat? i am thinking maybe one of the salads but I am no good at having salad without any dressing. or maybe the spaghetti pomodoro which is basically spaghetti with tomato sauce and half a mozzerella ball on top?

    today;

b - coffee with dash of milk, grapes
l - egg and new potato salad, satsumas

What things keep people on the straight and narrow?

Regulars will know I have recently regained several pounds but I have still lost the amount shown below.

I was pegging out my linen this morning and something occurred to me! Since I've lost weight I have bought loads of new underwear and it's very pretty. I hang it out with pride now. :rotfl::rotfl: I used to peg pants up by the gusset but I've been hanging them out by the sides and displaying them in all their glory as they are very pretty and quite a bit smaller.:)

The thought of having to go back to old ugly pants is keeping me going today.

I actually weighed myself this morning and it looks like I might have lost the 2 lbs I gained on holiday last week. I am going for a 3mile walk after lunch and prior to that I am going in the garden to do some fairly heavy work so that will all help.
  • I've just had a very good friend of mine stay over the last 2 days. We had a great time, went to a party on Saturday night and dined in Jamie Oliver's restaurant on Sunday whilst drinking wine at the riverside yesterday in the sunshine (lovely). I decided to have 'flexi' syns and set myself a limit of 150 syns for the weekend. I've just added the syns up and my eating has been very good (I didn't even sniff the party food on Saturday night!) but wine is the total pits for fat busters!!! I've had 151 syns :T - I can only imagine what it would have been if I had eaten what I wanted as well as drunk what I wanted!!! 115 of my 151 syns were on alcohol!!! I had a lot but I don't do it very often!! The main thing is that I've stayed in control, which for me, is success. :)

So, a gain is likely at weigh in this week but I'm back on the wagon today!
