 to him scoffing the lot!!

 to men being able to eat more and still lose.

:T to your wonderful cooking, it must have tasted lovely!!

I am trying to be well rounded in my comments......to match my well rounded body :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Guys, I made an enormous pot of SW savoury mince (1.5kg of mince and tons of veg)....left it to stand for the day to let the flavours develop before we enjoy it over the weekend...And OH has eaten the lot before I even got home tonight...

If i had done that i would have gained a few lbs....he seems to lose 5lb week. How can this be?

Gosh, I can barely do couch 2 the local shop:D

    Well done .

Shopping last night, I bought DH some Mcvities choc digestives (offer in co op for £1 ) as I thought they are SAFE from me, being that i have never really liked them.
BIG mistake - I tried one, to find they are nicer than the old recipe I remember, not so rough/oaty. 5 biscuits vanished last eve:(
    DH didnt have any yet..
Why OH why is it even 10lb is an impossible target for me ( after that I will set another target ) I really am hopeless, never been good at it , I have been hovering between 11st and 11st 10 for the last 7 years, and cant ever get under 11st. 15 yrs ago I was 9st 7lbs ..I dont need or want to be so low again as being older now, I would look scraggy.
Some days I think, what the heck! why worry? but I really dont like the feel of my extra bouncy wobbly bits and the thought of going into that classic middle age fatter person.

I am in awe of all you posters who have lost a few st, well done:T

Sorry - yes, it's Couch (Potato!) to 5k - a 9 week running programme. I think I'll keep doing my 15 minutes walking & see how much I can run in that before starting C25K as that's 20 minutes of alternate running/walking & I don't think I can do that much! :/ I'm a bit woried I'll *&&%$ my knees even more if I run too much whilst this weight - mine aren't great either NYD

I don't like Hobnobs for that roughness so they'd be safe from me, but I am VERY partial to a choc digestive :o

What about breaking that 10lbs down even further - say 2lbs to that half a stone mark on the scales (say you weigh 11, 9 then revise to 5lbs to the next half stone award) or aim for 7 pounds loss in 3 weeks & go all out for a short period (then another 'short' burst, then another)? I've got 4.5lbs to my next half stone mark on the scales, so I hope to get 2.5lbs to break the back of it this week, then 2 to get the week after.

Ha ha I'm more of a couch to fridge girl myself. Been shopping so it's looking lovely and organized with lots of healthy food.
I am just sticking to walking also for now, never liked running though
Boobs too big (it hurts) and dodgy knee/hip/neck. Hopefully weight loss will relieve all of that somewhat.
Damage limitation today from yesterdays syn fest so a walk later
    should help.
I think I will restart gentle yoga to hopefully uncreak myself
