A few thoughts for you Pennylane.
Imagine, if you do give up, where you'll be in 6 months time, a years time.
How much weight will you have put on? A stone? Maybe more?
You could do that, and then have to restart SW or another diet plan that takes your fancy and have much more to lose than you do now. You'll then kick yourself and wonder why you gave up in the first place.
Take yourself back to basics, reread all your books, weigh all your healthy extras, keep a food diary on here so we can help you.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Morning  thank you for good wishes on the collapsed ceiling - need to start getting estimates now
Counter back zero now - so far 0 sins for the day
B scrambled egg, beans, HEXB wholemeal toast
F 2 pints of water
It is going to be a late lunch today, as I am hoping to have a crafty nap and get DD1 to help with the littlies, she went to bed at 2.30 and should be ready to surface soon.
I may ask DD3 to stick a tray of jacket spuds in the oven for an hour then whatever is leftover from late lunch we can shake some seasoning on and turn into cheesey wedges using HEXA's with some HM dip and a big plateful of salad for tea tonight.
May have to go shopping tonight for some more veggies as thinking some DYNO-ROD soup might be in order to undo a bit of yesterday's flexible wagon fallingThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -

DITTO DITTO DITTO!!!!
The first time I did SW I lost 3.5 stone to get to target.... this LAST time I do SW I've got 6.5 stone to lose to get to the same target! And it gets harder the older you get (well from my experience anyway) so do it now & feel slim for the rest of your lifeDon't make your journey harder by undoing your good work until now & gaining more!

So still hanging on in here lol.
Have discovered home made roasted peppers an tomatoes with a wee bit of reduced fat Feta and some balsamic vinegar made by yours truly - amazing !!!
That will be my new phase until I get sick of it.
Having Plaice and veg tonight.........
So have my exam on tues and quite shocked at the how my body is showing stress (although work has played a big factor in adding to the stress)
Have a massive boil on my left breast and my period has landed - two weeks early which was a surprise earlier on today !
Got a call for a job interview on thurs as well - so all flipping go here with me lol.
Well done to all the losers and for the rest of us lets have a good weekend to hopefully see some losses.
I for one can't wait to collapse in front of the tv and enjoy a few g & t's tonight...........................:rotfl:0 -
Oh and it so does get harder as you get older - my 30's is much harder than my 20's so I dread to see what my 40's will be like lol0

Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement.:)
Yes, I do go to group and I always cook SW recipes.
I actually took 2 expensive pairs of trousers to a lady who does alterations the other day. I got them out to go on hols and they were miles too big which I was well pleased about. Because they were expensive I can't just bin/charity them.
I also LOVE being able to wear some nice new clothes I bought since I've lost weight so that is spurring me on too. I just must NOT gain any more weight.
I was talking to a woman at SW last night and she was saying that she's only losing a pound a week max and we both agreed that if you eat fairly healthily to start with it's harder because you don't have so much to cut out.
I know I only have myself to blame for eating bread on hol and a couple of bits of dessert. That honestly is the limit of my gluttony! So 2lbs is about what I expected. The other few pounds have been a bit here and a bit there.
My niece has lost 5 st+ but she was forever eating pizza, chips and family size bags of sweets and chocs. She got through a massive amount of food in a week so now she is eating healthily the weight is falling off her.
Thanks again.0 -

b, strawberries, coffee with a dash of milk
l, 2x bbq chicken drumsticks with salad.
hungry now though, think i need some carbs. Will have my healthy extras as dairlyea on wholemeal when I get in from work.

Morning all. WI for me in an hour
.
Does anyone still make magic porridge with pudding rice?
Cook pudding rice with water and sweetener then add muller of choice. I make double and mix with with 2 different yogurts -- 1 for dessert (warm) and 1 into the fridge for breakfast or to take with me.
Pudding rice is still free isn't it.
Good day everyone.
that's how I make rice pud except I use nat ff yog & have with fruitwhen life gives you lemons, stick them in your top & pretend you have pointy boobs.
When life gives you melons, stick them in your top & say you've had a boob job0 -
h007, do you have an aldi nearby? I get their weekly offers where fruit and veg is really cheap ( I find you need to eat it quickly or it will go off- not a problem here!) I also have a local market where I can get some good deals.
I did a great session at gym today and felt so much better than I have in ages. I am still waiting to get my BP checked but I feel so much better when I exercise that I have risked it. My daughter came with me today and Wednesday, which was great.
Still sticking with EE,
B- porridge with banana
Large apple and free yoghurt when I got back from the gym, as that has always been a danger point for me.
L- large salad with jacket potato and tuna ( mixed some leftover spring onions into the tuna- really tasty!)
D- salmon with free rice.
I have a whoopsie fruit mix for dessert (2 types of melon, grapes, pineapple)
Saving some syns so I can enjoy some vodka and coke tomorrow when I catch up on my episodes of the following!Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0
