h007, do you have an aldi nearby? I get their weekly offers where fruit and veg is really cheap ( I find you need to eat it quickly or it will go off- not a problem here!) I also have a local market where I can get some good deals.
Just my luck aldi is the one supermarket we dont have around here. We do have a lidl but I find their fruit and veg is not very good. Also no market either.
Just had a very nice dinner. Tilda have a new range of rice pouches out based on traditional indian foods. I had the khichdi pouch which has lightly spiced rice and lentils. I worked out to be 5 syns0 -
Hi can I join your thread please? I just started SW on Monday with 2 stone to lose. I'm finding it quite easy, apart from not eating bread.
I like to have some chocolate in the evening, and my friend told me that a whole curly wurly is only 6 syns so I've had one of those tonight to take the craving away0 -
Just had a lovely quorn meatballs with tagliatelle dinner
Made a spicy tomato sauce to go with it including jalapeno's & chilli flakes. Thought it was going to be too hot, but it was fab! I do love those quorn meatballs - going to marinate some for a BBQ kebab on Sunday too
Might have to have my other half an aero tonight which would make 12 syns in total;
B - pudding rice with ff cherry yoghurt
L - salad, dressing (1), pickles, tuna mayo (2)
S - biscuit at a friends (3.5) with a cuppa (HEa)
D - quorn meatballs with pasta
S - Hi-Fi Bar (HEb) & Aero (6)

Hi everyone - just calling in to say hiya.
Had a carb overload today - potato, rice, noodles, mixed beans - you name it, I've had it!!! Also had gammon, ham, chicken, mince beef - all with fat taken off. LOL! It's extra easy to the max! :rotfl:
I know it's on plan but I feel really guilty about it, like I am over indulging. I think it's because I'm supposed to keep my white carbs down and therefore don't indulge that often (when I'm on plan). Anyway...just rambling now
I'm also debt busting as well as fat busting and I'm pleased to say we've paid another £1200 off this month...yay...life is good.:T

Guys, I made an enormous pot of SW savoury mince (1.5kg of mince and tons of veg)....left it to stand for the day to let the flavours develop before we enjoy it over the weekend...And OH has eaten the lot before I even got home tonight...
If i had done that i would have gained a few lbs....he seems to lose 5lb week. How can this be?0 -

First puberty, then child bearing years, then to lose them through menopause to produce more insulin the fat making hormone!
Wonderful! Oh well mustn't grumble it's Saturday!!! Yeah
I'm gonna be good today as had a cheat meal last night involving French stick and Brie!
I have to hide stuff in this house I hide stuff in veg bags in freezer or its open season and gets snaffled.
They usually pinch the SW stuff and leave the fat food!
Really they aren't too bad normally if I explain the cost to replace
But still hide stuff.”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)
Put on some lipstick
and pull yourself together”
