Maman - I do sound ungrateful don't I! I'm sorry, yes normally I would be estatic with 1.5lb off, it's just trying to get to that elusive Club 10 which is in the forefront of my mind, but it's only 0.5lb off my weekly target of 2lb, so that's really good for me :)

Skint_catt I'd love that off this week.

I know Maman but annoying all the same.

Going to Tesco after work to get some extra lean mince to make some lovely chili for tea - just the weather for it :rotfl:

Well done on the 1.5 lb loss Skint Catt - I think that's marvellous!

I'm doing well so far today, I've just finished lunch with no syns consumed and only HEA started (milk in tea and coffee) and I feel pretty full -lentil dahl is very filling.

Can I just check, mushrooms are classed as a superfree veg aren't they? I fried up a load with fry light and courgettes to go witht he dahl and it was a lovely combination.

Have taken the meat our to eat with tonight's cabbage (sounds odd but cabbage, braised with a bit of ham and onion) is one of my favourites).

Right, off to walk the dog for a while
    Trying to keep in budget.

Hello ladies (and gentlemen if we have any on this thread) :hello:

Maman told me about this thread and said you are a friendly bunch so here I am :)

I go to a great SW group and have made some lovely friends there but keep falling off the wagon so it is a case of lose some, gain some! At the moment I am 3.5lbs down and, as I know I am capable of 4/5lb losses in a week, I am hoping to get 3.5lbs off this week and keep it off!!!

I am hoping that posting here will help me as I will be more accountable for what passes my lips :D I don't really eat sweet things so my syns tend to go on butter/cheese and naughty things in meals.

    Today

B hifi light 3 syns, half banana (shared with DD)
L ryvita with houmous (3 syns)
D 1/2 syn sausages x 3, mash (3 syns), French beans, baked beans, mushrooms and broccoli

    Hea - milk in tea
    Heb - ryvita

    Snacks - banana, Satsuma
Syns not mentioned above - 2 sugars in tea

    TOTAL 12.5 syns

    Hi Fruball

Welcome to our lovely thread :)

We do have a few gentlemen that post but they seem to have disappeared at the moment - I hope we haven't scared them off

What plan are you following? - if it is EE then I would say that you are a bit light on SF on you breakfast & lunch though it sounds like you have plenty with your dinner. Also, are you eating enough - it doesn't sound like a lot of food.

    Thank you :D

Yes, EE. I was disorganised today hence lack of SF but had lots for dinner. I like to prep a salad with roast chicken or ham the night before, and I often make SW frittata but have been really dis-organised recently hence the weight gains. I took ryvita today so I wouldn't be tempted by the double cheese and onion baguettes, full of mayo, that they sell next door

I wasn't particularly hungry today but I hate eating first thing in the morning and a hifi is enough to last me until 10.30/11ish when I have some fruit. Ryvita really fill me up but I usually have something like HM soup before the kids come home but I decided to get dinner on early instead and we have already eaten :o

If I feel like it, I will make some leek and potato soup later and take some of that to work tomorrow.

Whilst dinner was on I roasted some courgette and mushrooms so I am going to beat some eggs with chive cottage cheese and turn those into a frittata to take tomorrow too.

    100g has 104 cals, 2.8g fat, 13g sugar?
