    Hi everyone,

Congratulations to all the losers - I have had to skim through the posts since Friday but I see there have been some good losses :j.

I was -1lb this week which is not ideal as I am supposed to be maintaining and I am now 3.5lb below target - I don't go to group so no problems about having to pay but I don't seem to be able to stop losing  - I think I have become a bit addicted to the idea of 'losing weight' :(

Good luck to all those with WI today and hugs to those that are struggling :)

..I've heard that on-line membership is expensive and not much use either. Just ask away if you need any syn values. I only carry on going to group occasionally because it's free at target. THIS group is much better!

Yeah, I'd go along with that. I paid for on line membership but apart from emailing once a week asking me to weigh in, there's not much to it. It's a lot of money just for the syns guide! This group is def better, much more supportive and real.
  • Why don't u go to a group join up get a pin and the book of syns then sign up ur online account and then stop going to group? Cost £10?
Started sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Good call on them there lovely
May have to buy a few boxes next week ;)
I often miss my hexb out so these are ideal for a night time snack instead of a synful treat

Mildred, I would go to group but I don't live in the UK and they don't have SW here. I have a PDF of syn values (or at least I did but I think it was on my old computer that died!

Maman, the ratatouille is just chopped onion, courgette, tomatoes and mushrooms chucked in a pan with fry light, and a bit of tomato puree.
It's not that great but it's super free and .

Tonights dinner was rice, salmon and veg.
Syns so far are a jam tart (I'm reckoning about 7?) and the tomato puree.
I had milk as HEA and haven't had a HEB yet.
Not sure what to have for that really. I don't have any intetesting crispbread things, bread is not good without butter and cheese!
    Trying to keep in budget.

That wouldn't work I'm afraid. If you don't go to group for a few weeks then they stop the access to the site. It even applies to target members.

This happened to me too sukey. I got so used to eating SW that I kept falling below target range, even had a to pay a couple of times. Did you get the little booklet about how to maintain? I must admit I've never read it properly but the gist of it is to have extra HEXs. Personally I'd rather have extra treats. Friends told me to stuff my face with wine and cheese!:rotfl:It's a constant balancing act.

Early supper tonight and I made a few changes. Instead of cauli/broccoli in cheese sauce I went for runner beans and peas/carrots/onions to keep the syns down. My French niece taught me a little trick with a tin of peas and carrots. Fry off an onion then add the 'juice' from the tin with a pinch of sweetener. Then add the veg and heat through. It's a good storecupboard standby.
