I think I'm here too much but I genuinely like reading what's going on in everyone's lives and that despite everything and us all being in different life stages and situations we are all aiming to be losers :)

So I fitted in a top 2 sizes smaller than I'd normally wear today :o ok it is a bit floaty but it feels nice n comfy :)

    Menu for today
B- an apple (felt really ill this morning)
L- pasta n sauce , chicken, red onion, beetroot and pickled onions
D- chicken Kiev oh yes it's back!!! Sweet pot wedges and cauliflower broccoli carrots maybe some peas for speeeeed

Syns - sugar :( is there a nice sweetener that doesn't taste gross?
    Breadcrumbs on Kiev
    Hexa- Philly and milk
Hexb- ooooh alpen light I think

Question - are hi fi bars a good choc substitute? Tempted to buy a box on Monday

    Dreading Monday atm :( wish I hadn't had fish n chips really wish I hadn't :(
Started sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

New Year New You Challenge - /6lb
  • Has anyone got a good sweet and sour sauce recipe that's low syn n actually tastes good?
    Fanta chicken made me sad
I'd normally make the takeaway secret one but that's really not sw friendly at all :(

Mildred the Rocky Road Hi Fi Bars are yum!

I've tried the caramel and the blackcurrant cheesecake ones but the Rocky Road are by far the nicest :rotfl:

    Hi All

Sorry not been about much bug work is manic l we are in middle of buyout and a floatations so it's crazy

I agree with Frogga re the comments you read them but no time to respond to all
and I wS spending way more time here before but now with work being as crazy as it is cannot

Mildredd re your comment spending loads of time and wanting to know hoe people are doing me too and it motivates encourages discourages a
    Whatever the situation needs

What I find great is in the evening if it's your really bad time temptation wise that keeping yourself distracted on this is a great decoy :-)

Absolutely a continuation to christmas And I agree with Frogga re a week break in between

    It naturally keeps it going

When decided to do this initially and others wanted to as well the original plan in my head was I think christmas too far away need shorter timeframe or will find loads of reasons to justify eating junk in between whereas when it's only 6 weeks in theory you think twice about it

I had bad week but back on straight and narrow so fingers crossed good day Tuesday

Have a brilliant weekend everyone and apologies for the lack of posts Xx

    Keep up the fab work

  • OOOH, I am dying to try the rocky road bars but don't go to class, can u get them anywhere else? Might ask my friend who goes to class to get me some. Are 2 one healthy extra B?
Just got some Muller light lemon cheesecake yoghurts so am hoping they taste good, will let u know. :)
Midredd I really liked the fanta chicken, the sauce was a bit thin but then it thickened up at the end, we've had it every week upto now but don't think I will have it again this week, just got a chilli and jacket spuds on the go.
Hope you all have a fab weekend, looking forward to x-factor and a glass of wine!

Think the Christmas pudding ones are out very soon.

Had a few drinks & enjoyed buffet.
Very peckish today so had two scones in the M & S caf!

Hi folks, great to read such an upbeat thread, hope everyone's feeling ok at the moment and doing well with Challenge. Doubt I'll be in 3lb club this week, eaten soooo much sugary stuff.

    Have a great weekend!
  • Beanie, you are so kind, might take you up on the offer if I can't get them from a class, my auntie actually used to run a group and I asked her what a leader would think if I just popped in to buy some hi-fi bars and she said it probably wouldn't go down well! I would have thought it would just be another sale but I suppose it is a bit cheeky!
I have really been craving scones and nearly made some today (if I do say so myself my scones always go down well!) I resisted though and have just had a rice crispsy square (the new honeycomb one) 7 syns but very nice! :)

I made the tomato soup but I added some chilli flakes too so don't know what it tasted like without those!

Rocky Road Hi-Fi is YUMMM! Christmas Pudding ones are already out in some groups & I think our group this week coming :D

My current clothes (jeans especially) are way too loose, but I don't seem to be able to get into the next size down yet :( Though until I find a job it's saving me money I suppose!

DD & DH are away tonight so just had a yummy chow mein (7) & prawn toasts (28  ) which I was planning for ages. Still got 20 syns left until WI on Tuesday but I rarely use any on a Monday anyway so hope I'll be ok.

I use Weightwatchers jar of sweet & sour & find it well worth 4 syns :D

    B; fruit salad & yoghurt
L; a side salad was the only available thing I could eat in the cafe we stopped in!
    D; chinese takeaway (35 syns  )
S; fruit & fibre (HEb) & ss milk (HEa)
