Ah so I guess your target of 13st 7lb is just slightly less than mine because you're shorter. Have you ever been that weight? I haven't been 10 st 12lb since I was 16 :o

Think I was around that weight in my last two years of school.

I0.7 is what the BMI & SW advise should be my biggest!

I have been 11.7 and been very happy with that - but felt that there was a little more to go.

If I start getting down there (fingers crossed) and decide I like 11 I'll maybe just finish there.

So much easier to think about now that I have 3 stone 3 lbs off - was a bit daunting at first - didn't seem that it was going to be a possibility and now it does :)

    Hey JPP, welcome
We are just starting Week 3 of our Awesome in August 6 week Challenge but there is no reason why you can't hop on board. If you want to set a mini target for the next 4 weeks, just post it in bold so it will be added to the list. Or just post without joining in the challenge if you like.

They are a friendly bunch, mostly ;) Tell us more about you. How much do you want to lose? How tall are you? have you done it before? Or shall I mind my own business?
More about my self is I am 5.5 I have loads and loads of stone to lose but set my target for now at 4 stone 8 pounds to lose. I did low carb dieting 4 to 5 years ago and lost 5 stone and put it all back on again so but dont feel it was the best way now.

Thanks guys, and again well done Mrs_Ryan and Anon. I really am chuffed for everyone doing well and losing the weight.

I feel exactly the same. I'm as pleased for all the losers as I could possibly be BUT....
I feel I've done really badly in the challenge so far. It's my own fault as I've been letting myself have too many flexi meals when socialising. I'm in a similar position to you Beanie, in that I'm at target and just want to keep well within the range and maintain. What I tell myself is that even if I do have some rubbish, it might make my jeans a bit tighter for a few days but I'm not going to put on all the weight I've lost. So I'm staying in the challenge and today I'm having a good day. I'll worry about tomorrow when it comes.

I was thinking just that. I've just finished all the HM soup from the freezer and I was wondering what to do next.

T - sym free soup (Made carots, pototoes, onion and can of sweet corn cooked in veg stock cube)
grapes rasberrys and greek lemon light yougurt (Syn 1/2)
s cucumber with laughting cow light tiangle cheese (syn 1 1/2)
HEA - 250 ml semi milk,
    HEB - 1 1/2 shreaded wheat
    Syns - 5

That looks fine, pretty. I haven't checked your syn values but if that's what the book says then that's good. I was going to say that it doesn't look like much food but then I saw the Shredded Wheat so maybe your breakfast was more substantial than it looked. You may be saving syns but you don't have to keep as low as 5 but then you don't need to eat them just for the sake of it either!:)

Just realised I'd forgotten to post today's menu. I find it really helpful. Beanie, I eat fairly frugally too. Are you eating junk because it's in the house so saves you spending?

    Today's EE menu:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk for teas
L: not sure as having early dinner today, maybe just a banana
D: liver & onions, mash, carrots, cabbage
    Syns: gravy

I'm off to football tonight and usually allow a chocolate bar at half time. Tonight, I might just have a tiny bit of DH's or none at all. How's that for will power!!:D

It sounds though quite a few of you are having a really tough time so :grouphug: to all those that need them.

Sorry, if I miss anyone out but it is difficult to keep up some times - you are such a chatty lot in the evenings and I only get to read it all back next morning.

Beanie - please stay with us - we need you - you are an inspiration to us all. 'Empty-nest' syndrome must be really hard to deal with - I haven't had to face that but we are all thinking of you.

Becks - stay strong - things will get better - and we will always listen to your rants

JPP - welcome to the madhouse

Maman - from what I recall you have had an exceptionally busy month socially with family celebrations - I am sure you will get back to it once they are all over.

    Mrs Ryan - 6lbs - wow, well done :T

Good luck to all those with WI today :)
  • New day for me today, I have the day off work and have just assembled my new treadmill, I was missing 2 small screws and have 2 large screws left over, oh and I forgot to put the washers on but it is assembled.

I plan to use this as much as possible I'm starting week 2 of my couch to 5k again tonight, and will do this watching tv. I've planned my meals for the next 2 days and may still go to WI on Thursday depending on what my Wii tells me. Picked up lots of fruit off the market so I have all the tools, just trying to get my head into it.

I do appreciate all the encouragement, I've been here before so know I can get over this bump.

Hope everyone has a good day.
