Eating my Bacon Hotpot made SW style and everyone is oohing and aahing at it whilst they eat their mayonnaise loaded sarnies, crisps and coconut iced buns lol
They don't know its SW and I find this hilarious lol
Was mighty tasty by the way
Bacon, Pots, Sweet Potatoes, Onion, Peas, Parsnip, cabbage, Carrot - All made boiled and chopped / or fried in fry light.
Add to casserole dish with some water, stock cubes, passata and Lea Perkins - I put some oregano is as well - left for 40mins and then put some Sweet Potato slices on top with the lid off to bake for 15 - 20 mins.

It's funny how it's easy to give advice but not so easy to take it. So all I'll say is, look after yourself Catt. I feel your pain. I have been there too many times to remember. I won't even bother to say stick to the plan, because if I were you, I would be stuffing. I know I would. Sorry.

Hi carebear:wave:
SW doesn't ban anything as such but works on a system of syns. You get a maximum of 105 a week to use for treats or the more 'unhealthy' ingredients of meals like fat/oil and flour and sugar. You can eat ready meals, no particular brand, but would have to use syns for them. When you join you get access to the SW website where you'll find all the syn values. There are easy things to eat which don't have syns in them like some Mugshots and couscous and savoury rice and baked beans but the best way is to do HM ready meals and keep them in the freezer.
Do come back if you decide to join.:)
:Tsmokies on getting that job. When does it start?
Hope you've dried your eyes and cheered up a bit skint-catt. Life sounds really tough at the moment but it won't last. Just try to keep plodding on. I know the christening was a bit of a special focus but, just think, if you keep going you WILL be thinner by Christmas and think of all the other birthdays and Christmases and other family events when you'll be so proud to be a slim, healthy mum.0 -
Hi carebear
we have no cooker so I have to do things in the microwave meaning I have to mostly eat ready meals. Some are really low syn- for example the salmon and broccoli pie from Tesco's Lighter Choices range I have for tea today is just 2 syns

Hi, I'm cheering up a bit now. Have had pizza for lunch but going to draw a line at midnight & get on with SW the rest of my week.
The tom soup is in the Autumn Flavours booklet that came with the last magazine - I can write it out in full on here if anyone wants it - smells lovely, though haven't had any yet

Well congrats again! I thought my interview had went relatively well and I just found out that I didn't get the job. So just goes to show!
I'm glad it is a help to you - I am just trying to focus on the positives - that a) at least I'm getting paid and b) I can keep focusing on other things until I do get an opportunity to get out.0 -
keep plodding skint catt.
