  • Hi all.

Still been poorly so not on much. Lost 1lb which I was pleased with because I have had a rubbish time at the weekend and ate lots of easy things...toast and lurpak again!

This is just how things happen for me so I can't complain.

Hugs to those who need them and well done to all the successful!!

Well done anoneemosse on the pound loss that is great :Tit's in the right direction and it gives you a lift when poorly Hope you feel better soon
  • Thanks guys, and again well done Mrs_Ryan and Anon. I really am chuffed for everyone doing well and losing the weight.

I'm just having a down day so ignore me, Magic thanks for the words of encouragement, and I don't mean this in a bad way but I'm glad I'm not the only one struggling, makes me feel more normal.

As it turns out I can't WI on Thursday as I have to go looking around secondary schools with DD1, which I think is my get out of jail card, I will take it as a holiday and use the next 10 days to sort my head out.

You guys are on here are fab! Thank you for listening to my rants. I will get happier!

Beanilou - please don't pull out you are very inspirational and truthfully without the posts and guidance of you and a few others I would have probably quit last week xxx
My mum said when I moved out the way she dealt with it was instead of missing me she looked at what she'd gained? Longer bath soaks, own choice on tv, own choice of station in the car, no more waiting up for me to get home as she wouldn't settle til we were all home etc etc
Take time to regroup your thoughts and get back in the right headspace xxx

Becks I'm just starting week4 so I think we're quite close in how long we've been doing it for? I fully expect to hit a speed bump soon and have a wobble and a crap week weigh in BUT I'm thinking ya know what a week is nothing in the grand scheme of my life? There's weeks of my memory missing completely where I couldn't say oh yes that week I did xyz a weeks nothing xxx

    Well done all losers :)

My 2.5lb off this week brings my total to 13lb in 3 weeks
I ordered smaller jeans and they fit!!!
Although I've probably undone my last 3 weeks with my fish and chips in Blackpool tonight oops!!!
Edited to add - seriously my body hates grease now :( urgh *lilgreenfaceclutchingstomachsmileyhere*

6 Week Awesome in Autumn Challenge Day 16 Week 3

    Tuesday 24th September
    Morning All :T

Hugs to lose feeling cheesed off. Especially Beanie and Becks. Of course we can't make you stay in the challenge. But what's the point in giving up? That won't make the weight go away?

Beanie are you not at target? If so what are you still putting so much pressure on yourself? You're there? You did it? So what if you have a few weeks of not eating too great, you're not going to put it all on again

Give yourself a break! I can't imagine how horrible it must feel when tadpoles hop the pond, however, I don't expect you'll always feel so bad. I expect it will get easier, so you must give yourself permission to 'wallow' and wait until you feel stronger.

If you weren't such a brilliant mum, you wouldn't care so much, so you should be kinder to yourself because we all love you and think you deserve more than the unhappiness you are feeling :A

    Stay strong girls :T

Oh and well done Mrs Ryan, at least it is going hmc, excellent work Mildredd, well done anonemoose, and hi magic, and I'm glad you've not been as good HelloAgain :D

There once was a Beanie named Lou,
Who was eating enough rubbish for two,
Her head's in the wrong place
    Absent Son's left a 'space'
But she's Scottish, so we know she'll get through :A

Sent for all the right reasons Beanie. Paint a smile on matey :D You've got through worse I'm sure.

    Morning all!

Beanielou and Becks - stick with it.

Sometimes its a real struggle I know only too well but we can do this:T What choice do we have - give up undo all our hard work and return to unhealthy ways.

Its always a bit of a struggle of the majority I would imagine but then its not easy is it - or else no one would be overweight.

Whenever I'm feeling bad I take a look at a before picture and think of the size 20 clothes that are now packed away - NEVER TO HAVE REASON TO COME OUT AGAIN!

Managed to have a Syn free day yesterday:eek: Very pleased with this as trying to claw back from the weekend for wi on thurs.

Planning a syn free day again today - loaded with the cold so made up a big hotpot last night to do for lunch & dinner so I have no excuses and so I had something warming.

    B: Muller
L: Bacon Hotpot - (Sweet Pot, Pot, Onion, Carrots, Parsnip, Peas, Cabbage

D: As lunch but with beans

    Good luck to all today.
