I've got weigh-in tonight but this week I have successfully got rid of an excess 15 stones. After 27 years of domestic abuse I have signed the lease for a flat and I get the key next Wednesday

  • I put on 1.5lbs tonight at WI

Right, now that is out of the way, well done Beanie on your loss, hell I would strip down to my bra and pants if it meant getting to target.

I'm really anal when it comes to WI and wear the same clothing every week, even down to my underwear (obviosuly washed between weigh ins) I also go for a sneaky wee right before I step on the scales regardless if I need it or not (sorry if TMI)

I was expecting my gain, I suppose I have been a little relaxed lately and haven't really been in the game. I did get a nice welcome from the group tonight and a long old clap for having lost 1stone 2.5lbs in 5 weeks. I can't really moan at that so will take the gain on the chin.

I have also gone and purchased a treadmill so I can continue on with my couch to 5k challenge, I was running on the spot as I can't go out as I have my DD's at home. So I have this being delivered on Saturday :D

Thank you for all of the nice comments about the facebook/friend issue, reading back I probably sounded a bit sad and desperate. But you guys are right, sod them. At least I know where I stand now.

Hope everyone is doing well, and those that WI tonight had some good losses. I'm going to have a week 100% on plan, coupled with my running I am aiming for a 4lb weight loss this week.

  • Evening all!

I had a good day yesterday although had takeaway at my friends. Jist had chicken kebab (grilled chicken breast) and salad. Did have a few chips and pitta but counted as syns.

Today has not been as good but I am accepting of this. Have had a poorly day. Was fine until this evening. Had fruit mid morning and ryvita with laughing cow light for lunch with some mangetout, sugar snap peas and cucumber. But then I slept this afternoon due to feeling ill and when I woke up, I craved carbs so had 2 crusty rolls with butter! And a small bit of choc cake!!

Like I have said before though, I don't beat myself up. When I feel this way, I eat what my body craves. I actually mentally went through the sainsbury's store thinking I could have anything and all I wanted was buns, so figured I must need them somehow. Not so much the choc cake but it was a huge thorntons celebration cake reduced to £2.49 so would have been rude to leave it on the shelf. At least the kids can have a yummy treat tomorrow!!

Hi everyone! Can I join in please? I only started SW Monday gone so I'm getting near the end of my first week. Im eating sooooo much!! I swear my consultant thinks Im nuts because I've texted asking her am I eating too much :rotfl: My syn consumption is quite high - hovering somewhere around the 14.5 mark every day  but it's difficult for me because we have no working hob and the oven is on its last legs so everything I'm eating is going via microwave. I don't get the body magic thing either?? but my Mum says I should keep going with the exercise I'm doing as my body is used to it now. I lost just under 2.5 stone of my own accord before starting SW so I haven't eaten rubbish in quite a while but I cant believe all this stuff I'm eating is free/superfree??
For example this is what I ate today. (Bear in mind I'm off sick from work at the moment and what I'm off sick with causes me extreme fatigue so I sleep long and late)
When I got up I had an Aldi Chicken Cupshotz and an apple.
Then a bit later in the afternoon I got peckish and had a large mixed salad with tuna and ham, drizzled with fat-free vinegarette dressing.
Tea was a Tesco Lighter Choices Salmon and Broccoli Pie (2 syns) with a load of steamed veg, and a bowl of fresh raspberries topped with vanilla Mullerlight for dessert.
Supper was a handful of cherry tomatoes, and a lean ham sandwich made with bread as healthy extra b. Drinks all day was Robinsons No Added Sugar cordial made with mineral water, and a bottle of Evian while excercising.
Syns other than the ready meal were 3 Ryvita thins, a Weight Watchers Jaffa Cake bar, a scraping of marg on my supper sarnie, and a bag of Walkers French Fries crisps with supper.
It just seems like all I do is eat!!! I feel like I'm going to be the size of a house come weigh in on Monday..!
