I'm in exactly the same position and can't remember half the things I wanted to respond to but definitely this one!!:jThat's brilliant stitchy, a real NSV if I ever heard of one and it will help SW as you'll be able to entirely please yourself what you eat and when from now on. I'm delighted for you.:D
I'm having quite a 'feeling thin' sort of day today which is a bit ominous as we have a busy weekend coming up.
EE today:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, fried eggs, mushrooms, HEA milk for teas
L: frittata:drool:HM gammon, cauliflower cheese, tomatoes, sweet potato wedges
Syns: weekend wine;), cheese sauce
I'm crazy about frittata at the moment. I got another tin of potatoes today, very useful for frittata and also for just frying up with cooked breakfast/brunch as it saves using bread for toast. I've never bought them before and in Aldi they're hugely cheaper per kg than 'real' potatoes so very mse too.:)
Tomorrow it's my (grown-up) niece's birthday party and we're staying over with DH's sister. So it'll probably be a [STRIKE]crappy[/STRIKE] buffet at the party venue. If I'm lucky there'll be a bit of chicken in there amongst the sausage rolls and vol au vents! SIL is a great hostess though but while breakfast will have fruit and ham and eggs on offer I'm sure there'll be croissants to tempt and butter and....
So I'm going to be extra good until tomorrow evening and then back to perfection on Monday!
:hello:if you haven't gone already, have a lovely holiday Blodwen.0 -

I thought I'd try your blackened chicken but couldn't find the Schwartz spice - where do you get it from and what's its full name? I ended up buying another Cajun spice mix, it was quite nice but I really want to try your recipe properly.:cool:0 -
Evening all!
I'm back on track and have eaten really well tonight. the SOTW left before group finished last night so the consultant raffled off the fruit bowl and I won! So today I have had 1 satsuma, 4 plums, 2 satsumas, grapes, apple, strawberries, nectarine and am looking forward to some rasps later on when I get the munchies. If I can't take advantage of this now there is no hope for me.
Thanks for all of the encouraging posts, I really feel like I have double the support here and at my weekly WI group. I love coming on here and reading how everyone is doing.
Well done Tracy on your stone award, I think its such a good achievement, and even losing 0.5lb a week is still great going - hope you carry on staying motivated :T
Hugs to those feeling it today, keep on plodding, I'm sure the weather has something to do with it, although Im sure we will be getting some more sunshine over the weekend.
I plan on doing some batch cooking, I have the paprika pork on my list of things to do, as well as some more soup so I can fill up at lunchtime and not come home starvin marvin!
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend, I will check back on at some point.

I know I was very lucky especially as I wasn't in fact SOTW, gaining weight and getting the fruit basket I felt a bit of a fraud, but I had as much chance as anyone else buying a raffle ticket, and I never win.
I felt like this last week, try and be extra kind to yourself, have a nice bubble bath or give yourself a manicure. Hopefully you will feel better tomorrow. Staying within your syns you're doing fab - I lost the plot a bit. So give yourself a pat on the back! - Sending you virtual hugs0
