Hi all, hope everyone is having a good Saturday.

Well done Shelly on your loss :T

I'm still sat in waiting for my treadmill to arrive, although I'm pretty convinced its not coming as its gone 5pm  really cross as I've stayed in all day for it and paid extra to have it delivered today when I could be in to wait.

Whilst I have been in waiting I made the paprika pork from the SW website, and yet again I'm disappointed. Its really watery and doesn't have much flavour, I added more paprika then it told me to, and 100ml less chicken stock and it is still flavourless and bland. I'm starting to lose faith - surely I'm not that much of a bad cook.

With regards to scan bran I've never tried it as I've been told its like eating cardboard!! Someone from my old group made these forreo rocher type things by mixing scan bran with some nutella, not sure on syns as neither is my sort of thing.

I know the SW website has lots of recipes for scan bran - lots of cakes & the cheese & onion burgers are lush (recipes on the SW recipe thread on here? First page?)

I actually eat them like ryvita - before quark got really expensive I used to mix a tub with white choc options & eat as a dessert

Cottage cheese with ham is good too!

(I think you could've got it cheaper at group though - if I remember right & u not a member - why not just pop to a group when everyone is weighing & buy it from the shop? You might be able to ask the shop lady for recipes while you r there! Just pretend you are visiting from another group & 'forget' your card after you have used the shop & leave!)

Most of the recipes need quite a bit of adapting! I've found most are watery & need extra spice!

I don't think it is your cooking x

How much are they at group then? When I bought some in H&B couple weeks ago they were £1.99 today online they were on offer at £1.55 that's why I had a brain flush and bought them :rotfl:
