  • Thanks for the inspiration Frogga!:)
Only 100 days? Better start shopping instead of eating!
Here's my weigh in (are we doing them today?)

    I have maintained :o (For Shala's chart)

A bit disappionted with this but I did have half a bottle of champagne and a take away curry in the week to celebrate Hubby getting a job.
I think I have been going wrong in the small ways too, ie not weighing my cereal and probably having twice as much as I should and not eating enough superfree. Also I weigh myself on the Wii fit and it doesn't really show the half 1lb's etc so might get a good pair of scales - does anyone else weigh on the Wii fit?
Anyway now I am off to the gym, I wasn't going to but have been inspired by Frogga- You are a star!
Good luck to everyone else for the weigh ins

I must admit that even when my head is is in the 'right' place(which does not seem to be too often at the mo) I struggle with weekends as I feel I deserve a treat (or two).
Also have raging toothache at the mo.
    Bah is all.
    Will try to keep plodding.

What's the difference between Diet Coke & Coke Zero? Thanks for the head's up on the Sainsbugs deal :)

    Hi Catt,

It might be the amount of caffeine they contain.
    Diet Coke 3.8mg/fl oz
    Coke Zero 2.8
    Diet Pepsi 2.9
    Pepsi Max 5.8

Mildredd, As far as I know all the big brands use aspartame and acesulfame as sweeteners, if you want to avoid aspartame I think only Sainsburys own diet drinks use Sucralose instead.

I want to either stuff myself & say sod it, or get drunk (but I don't like alcohol anymore) :( So I'm feeling depressed instead. At best I've lost 0.5lb this week & I've been pretty good, at worst I'll have maintained which will just depress me even more & lead to me binging.
Looks like I've blown my Christmas target already - no chance I'm going to lose 25+ lbs by Christmas now, so another fat one approaching, feeling even more depressed as I stuff myself with chocolate oranges & pringles....

    Just ignore me!
  • Morning all or should I say afternoon lol
I have been Faffing all day I had promised myself I would work and doing everything possible to avoid it

Made cooked breakfast for mr bucks and his mate
They went to bed at 330 this morning after downing copious wine and port so Grill was on the cards
Did not eat bread and cooked a very healthy one that still did the trick

JJ really please you happy with week1 and that you finding the thread so inspiring that's really great

There is such a fab bunch of people on it that I know exactly what you mean

Catt I have no idea I reckon the mildredd and Inazuma comment most accurate all I know is taste wise that coke aero tastes closest to real coke

That's my opinion though not necessarily fact :-)

Thrifty well done on the maintain

Frogga a bit of. Blowout last night so what was no dire been great all week and more importantly you seem to have drawn yourself a line - well done

Shala well done on the 0.5

Apologies if I have missed anyone out in the posts

TIE thanks a million that gave me such a laugh when I saw the picture even bigger than the last one

Chicken with blackened Cajun seasoning stir fry for dinner but have had a slice of toast with some lemon curd this afternoon so not great day but still on mission

By the way the scrummy muller light Greek yogurts are on offer in morrisons for £1.09 for a 4 pack not totally sure of syn value think they low though but they are scrummy

No chance Catt the ignore bit:grouphug:

I think you are wrong re christmas today is 15th of September so there are 100 days which is 14 weeks away and you know what Catt 25 lbs in that time is doable
Not easy and ill give you that but it is doable and also when you break it down its 300 meals minimum between now and then and it means

Ok you will laugh at this but basically 2lbs a week roughly some weeks more some less think of a quarter pound of sweets there is nothing in them and think that much off me daily

Catt how about using the SAS thing I know that's not the right name but you know what I mean or just literally writing down everything just in case there are some curve balls going in

We will help you we are all on this together and you know what you were one of the people who helped Frogga get her head together :beer:so we will all do same now

Catt just focus on short term I know at times we say but one meal out of 21 etc but if your head is telling you that 25lbs is a big number then you need to break it down

Look at mini targets 3.5 in 2 weeks that gets you there or 2 per week:j

Seriously work out a non food reward for yourself for getting there and HAVE it/buy it whatever but make the reward weekly

Really sorry if that sounds like am going on I genuinely am trying to help and we will get you there

    :j

    Magic

Now now Catt what's all this defeatest nonsense?

I too am struggling today, I'd really like some more sweets. I had lots yesterday, and somehow it wasn't enough, so I'd like another go at the trough. But I won't if you don't?

There comes a time when we have to say, although it's gonna be really tough, we have to say "no more". Nothing that's worth having comes easy. The easy thing to do is to carry on stuffing. A quick fix will just kill your mood tomorrow. It's just NOT worth it.

Please Catt. I've put my neck on the line making friends with someone of your species. Don't make me regret it ;)

Lol, thanks Magic & Frogga. I'm trying! I'm just really hungry today, but want all the wrong things :( I haven't even written down what I've eaten today (until below!), but know I've gone over my syns thanks to lunch at parents - my Mom annoys me - she's my worst critic in terms of weight - sometimes being unbelivably cruel & !!!!!y - yet today 'oh have a piece of cake', 'one piece won't hurt, you'll still lose weight'!

    B; Cheerio's (5 syns?) & SS Milk (HEa)
L; salad, ham/turkey but with a slice of yummy french bread (4?)& a samosa (6.5syns) :o 2 chocs from a box my Dad produced from last Christmas (6?)
D; gammon, sw roast potato's, leeks & carrots

Can anyone with a low-carb diet please show me what you've eaten today? I think I may need to cut down as they just don't do me any good. I've already stopped bread, but scared to do without my SW Chips!
