  • Evening all!

Welcome to the newbies, and people returning back after a while.

I had WI on Monday and lost another 1lb, was hoping for a bit more but had re-introduced some bread back into my diet and fear this was to blame. I really don't think it agrees with me.

I'ma bit all over the place at the moment, not hungry in the day and have to force breakfast and lunch down me, but come 6pm I could eat a whole fridge full. I've had 3 muller lights since 6pm, 2 oranges, some grapes, sugar free jelly, melon, strawberries and am just defrosting some frozen rasps! Call me the green recycling bin I don't mind. I'm proud that it is healthy food, but I must have eaten about £10 worth of food this evening alone.

I about to change my SW group from a Monday to a Thursday so will be in limbo for the next week. I go to the 7.30pm group and take my 2 DD's as I have no one to sit for them, I never manage to stay till the end of group and I miss out on a lot, so I am switching to 5.30pm on a Thursday. I love my Monday WI as it meant I had to be good at the weekend, Thursday you can get away with it more.

Anyway, I hope everyone is getting on ok - especially those on the countdown. I did my 3rd run/walk of the week tonight with the NHS couch to 5k, for anyone considering doing this it really is worth a go.

Hugs to those struggling at the moment as well
  • Giggling at the fowl jokes

Frogga that's part of working I don't miss - getting sworn at my pupils and parents :( hope your okay tonight and haven't let it ruin your evening x

I'm a going to group member as if I don't have an aim or goal I struggle with motivation after about 5 days :/
I can't even just go for a walk? I have to be going somewhere?
    Think I'm just a loon though :s
Annoyed though as all the Facebook groups etc linked by the consultant aren't secret so anyone can see I've joined slimming world and due to my lack of motivation I don't want the world knowing just yet? Would rather just post some pics on of me n the mini at Xmas me looking less potato like

Those who have put weight on - draw a frogga line under it and tomorrows a new day :)

Decided to treat me and mini Mildredd to a nandos today - wont be repeating - ended up with no super free - they had no salad so ended up starving :/ corn on the cob and half a chicken between me n the mini (ordered her chips - didn't even have one!)

Feel like at the moment I'm just breaking my bad habits food wise - not sure what to expect on 2nd weigh in in terms of loss though
Rambling now so gonna shut up
Started sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

6 Week Awesome in Autumn Challenge Day 5 Week 1
    Friday 13th September

So we are at the end of the working week so only the weekend to go and that's week one over. If it went well, read this ~

Well done, great start, it's amazing how quickly the week went isn't it? We could have lost 1lb already and that's going in the right direction. Just got to get through 2 more days and we'll be in Week 2 :D Keep going

If it didn't go as planned and you fell off the wagon read this~

Don't panic, don't give up, it's only 5 days in. We've hardly started. On this long journey of 6 whole weeks we shall ALL fall off at some point. Some of us have got totally acceptable reasons for the wobble. Who cares? Just haul yourself back on board. Friday is a great day to start again. 3 days of 'being good' now could put you right back on track by monday. 3lb is NOTHING, and will very quickly be gone. It's not that falling off that matters, it's having guts enough to get back on. Are you gutsy enough? Be that person. Be the winner. Now here is the line...

  • Morning all

Hope everyone is well and raring to go

Great email Frogga and you are dead right we all do it I have been really bad/ I have gained whats the point?? Of course there is a point

Someone once said to me look how long it took for the weight to go on in total so a few bad days here and there should be no reason to stop

Also I am going to sound now like a holier then thou but I really want to stress again re the holiday I was 4 days before it success expressing the week of the holiday some of you saw my last post the ship had not left Southampton !! I had devoured about 500 syns

All week 3 meals with afternoon tea and the dinners were 4 courses so that was a week but then the 4 days success express After it combines with the 4 before it meant a net loss

All you need to do is a few really good days and it counterbalances my recommendation is the 2/3 super free foods one third free food and you will be amazed how quickly it counterbalances the blow outs

Also if you know bad weekend on the way etc do a few days of this as well as saving syns and you'll be pleasantly surprised

    Have a great day everyone

    Love

Bescks81 - I just changed from a Monday group to a Thursday there a few weeks ago and finding it has worked better for me. I'm always the heaviest on a Monday after the weekend vices!

I drink Green Tea with Mint all day in work to try and help with bloating - I'm at the toilet every half hour - I'm sure people are talking about me!

So great news to report I'd 3lb off last night, 3 stone 3lbs in total. Was very pleased with myself:T

To all those that are struggling don't give up - I'd only a 1lb off last week and half a pound the week before. The week before that was a 1lb gain. Sometimes your body just won't play ball! I'm feeling good today and the 3 lb off has been good for my motivation. Hopefully I'll meet my 6 week and Christmas Target - but if not I'll make a good stab at it.

    Anyway I'm really hoping

    Hi Becks

Re your comment on the Thurday group change not necessarily:j

I think Thursday is a cool day for it for a few reasons but this is magics head
    Different strokes for different folks

It encourages you to be good in week as class on Thursday and if you have had a good weight loss then I reckon it incentivises you to be more disciplined ish :-) at weekend

Eg if you go to a class Thursday and you lose say 2 lbs and you thinking of going on a bender at the weekend I think the loss incentivises you to stay on straight and narrow as its recent

Try thinking of it in that way

By the way hope sounds ok just trying to help
