I'm falling in love with SW pumpkin pie - cooking in the oven as we speak - my house smells gorgeous! (& it is great for my blood sugars!)

Sticking with original days - not strickly SW but very close to it

    I miss carbs & chocolate though :-(

    How very American that sounds!:D

Hope you don't mind Nessie but I saw post on another board where someone was asking if you can do SW when pregnant. I suggested they come over here and ask any questions. They may or may not.:)

Yum Nessie - will have to try that. Is it on the SW website?

    L xx

I got recipe from in group last year (it's great in the mini pre made pastry cases)

    Recipe

    16oz cooked pumpkin
    1 medium egg
    1tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp pumpkin spice (I was lucky to have some sent from USA but u can google spice mix)
    1 level tbsp honey
    Sweetener to taste

    Mix everything together
Bake in oven at bout 180 deg for 50-60 mins (less if baking in pre made pastry cases)

(Just syn the honey & pastry cases if using!)

I don't mind at all - good to help others!

For that person - SW is supported by the midwife association - although my midwife/consultant didn't want to sign anything :o
The SW consultant shouldn't give any tips to loose weight - especially if midwife doesn't sign the form
I think once baby is born & if u breast feed you get extra healthy extras - but I found my body craved more milk/cheese so I upped it (not that I have followed SW strickly whilst pregnant!)

Nope not long at all! & they definitely won't let me go over due

Scary to think that in 4 weeks I will have a baby to look after:eek:

I'm looking forward to getting back on plan properly - glad that I have been 'forced' into better eating - will make it easier to get back to it when bubs is here
  • Thnx so much for the recipe. Will definitely give it a try. I'm still trying to lose my baby weight - 6 years later lol!!

Hi, I'm an online member but I've never seen any deals so not sure if they exist. Sometimes mags do vouchers for classes but that's about it, I think.

If anything is available someone on here will know!

Hope you're keeping well Nessie, good luck.
