Thanks will get some options, is it certain ones? Today I've already had my 10 sins. Half a double-decker and a cappuccino

Thanks for your concern everyone, means a lot to me :A:A:A

WI this morning with 1.2 lb loss (the .2 is very important :D) this must be due to being under daily calorie intake on several days. I knew I wasn't eating enough but life got in the way :o. I'm off to watch son play rugby today, am a bit apprehensive as will be miles away from mum. I live within spitting distance of the hospital and am even closer when at work so being so far away is a real worry. Son needs me too, ok am crying now. Sorry

TIE, your Mum will understand, I'm sure. This all sounds really stressful for you, I hope she is okay. At least you know she is in the best place with people caring for her who know how to look after her.

Sending hug :grouphug: please let us know how it goes today.

I think any of the 11g sachets are 2 syns each - but mixed with quark make a chocolaty sweet dip for strawberries or spread on ryvita/scanbran & mixed with a beaten egg makes a sponge puddng x

    Good Morning Slim Jims :j
All the talk of Knickers last night made me too embarrassed to post. It must be a human thing, Frogs don't find it necessary to discuss such personal matters. I'm far too reserved and lady like

I thought you were going to say you didn't join the discussion because you didn't wear any!:rotfl:

I know you're much busier but posting/writing out your food is good for more than just getting advice. I find it concentrates my mind on exactly what I'm eating and also shows up if your menu is getting a bit 'samey'. Our consultant is always stressing how important variety is.

It's sort of yogurt/fromage frais type stuff actually a curd cheese but with little taste of its own. I've never used it myself but I'm told it readily takes on the flavour of whatever you mix it with. I've heard of people mixing it with Stilton to get a really cheesy sauce.

Hope you enjoy the match tie. It is hard trying to be there for everyone but I'm sure your mum is fine with it. He's her grandson after all and I'm sure she loves him as much as you do.:A

    Good EE day planned:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, kippers, HEA for teas
L: vegetable frittata, fruit snack if I fancy more
D: chicken jumbalaya (rice, carrots, peppers, onions, peas, mushrooms, courgettes)
Syns: weekend wine:j and may eat a few bits of frankfurter that DH likes in the jumbalaya
  • quark is fat free cream cheese. You get used to it. Tesco sell one that is 90p & has a cream cheese consistency. Other places have one that is more yogurty (& personally I no likey).

btw you know that bloke who said mix an egg with options powder & it tastes like cake? Has he ever actually eaten a cake before???!?!? it was odd. Not 100% unpleasant but not exactly nice either. Not something I will be repeating x

Sorry TIE I must have missed the post about your mum, I really hope she is ok. As someone else says she will understand, I'm sure she wouldn't want you to miss your sons rugby. My mum dotes on my girls and if it was her, she would always want me to put my children first.

    Take care of yourself xx

No more M&S undies for me!!

    Fave undie shops, anyone?

New to this board, Hi everyone.

Just this morning I have replenished my knicker drawer at ASDA and replaced my leggings too. First things I've had to buy in a smaller size :TCurrently 1st 3lbs lighter with SW, another 7st to go!

I use Quark in place of mayo sometimes in jacket potato or sandwich fillings, it's a good pasta sauce base, good swap for b!chamel in lasagne. It's a good alternative to sour cream in fajitas too.

Lol, oh dear! Sorry about that :o I haven't tried it myself - but she was adamant it would make a good sponge pudding! lol
