Lol @ diamond encrusted knickers!
Our stand-in consultant last week mentioned that a chap in her class mixes an options sachet into a beaten egg, then microwaves it for 2 minutes - comes out like a sponge pudding! Haven't tried it myself yet as not got any options in, but good to know it tastes nice in Quark and yes I know what you mean about the price of things! :eek:0 -

Hello all, I'm up late as I crashed out as soon as I got in from work and now don't feel sleepy.
Well done Beanie on your diamond award, and lantanna for your shiny. 3 stone is my aim, my first time round at slimming world I got 3lbs away from it. I've since pout all of the weight back on but am determined to get to 3 stone. I think it is such a big achievement so well done!
Nessie I am diabetic and have red days a lot of the time, you can snack on cheese as you get 2 x HE on red/green. Also berries are good fruit to snack on, grapes unfortunately are one of the worst. I keep these in the fridge for whenever my blood sugar levels dip too low. I also tend to snack on cold meats a lot, or have been known to eat tuna straight from the can with only a squirt of lemon juice, and black pepper. Not to sound patronising, but you get used to the lack of carbs, for me I feel sluggish if I've had pasta, rice or bread. So for my HEB I tend to have cereal bars or Ryvita, these are my carb fix, as I do believe cutting out carbs completely is advised. Hope this helps, message me if you're stuck with anything.
I have booked my Tesco online delivery and am looking forward to a day of cooking and meal planning tomorrow in preparation for the 6 week countdown. I'm completely motivated and looking forward to sharing our progress with one another.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. I'm aiming for 0 syns the whole weekend, I feel like I've put weight on and need to detox slightly. I want to continue with my run of losses, if I gain I will be mad at myself and feel like I've let myself down. I can't trust myself that I will recover from it.0 -
Good Morning Slim Jims :j
All the talk of Knickers last night made me too embarrassed to post. It must be a human thing, Frogs don't find it necessary to discuss such personal matters. I'm far too reserved and lady like
Lantanna ~ Well done on the 3 stone. Half way is fab, keep going matey
Stitching Witch ~ to lose 1.5 with an over indulgence is still fantastic :T Well done you x
Catt ~ there is NO WAY I would have a photo of me on the fridge, I never get in any photo at all, and if someone does manage to snap me I delete it straight away. Mr Frog pointed out that the Tadpoles don't have a single photo of me at all. That's very sad.
Monkee I think quark is yuck! But I wondered if it changed once you add the sachet to it?
Nessie are you still pregnant! For goodness sake, it's taking ages, I'm bored of waiting for you to cook this baby, hurry up already!
TIE ~ sometimes a good cry can help. I'm thinking of you my friend.
Inazuma Becks and Maman :A Hope you are all well xxx
Good Morning Beanie, I have news...
Well, Tadpole 1 passed her driving test :jShe was thrilled, first go as well. It suddenly hit me, my 17 year old can drive a car  I heard Mr Frog phone his sister last night, he said 'do you remember when Tadpole 1 was born, well that little bundle just passed her driving test' It bought a lump to my throat.
All the cycling to work is defo helping my motivation. I feel much fitter for dong it. I did the fast day yesterday. It felt good. I wasn't hungry really, and I liked the 'empty' feeling, but as I have a history of eating dissorders I don't think it's sensible for me to do it often. I'm aware it can soon lead to me starving myself, and I really don't want to go there again
First week back at work was very busy, I think I won't post my food diary everyday as I know what I'm doing now, if I fall off the wagon I might start again but we'll see
Have a great weekend everyone, let's keep going, and don't forget we start the 6 week challenge on Monday for those who want to join in :beer:Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Thanks for your concern everyone, means a lot to me :A:A:A
WI this morning with 1.2 lb loss (the .2 is very important) this must be due to being under daily calorie intake on several days. I knew I wasn't eating enough but life got in the way
. I'm off to watch son play rugby today, am a bit apprehensive as will be miles away from mum. I live within spitting distance of the hospital and am even closer when at work so being so far away is a real worry. Son needs me too, ok am crying now. Sorry
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

There is Milbona fat free yogurt
Cherry - free
Strawberry - free
Mint with chocolate sprinkles - 0.5 syn
Lemon cheesecake yogurt - 1 syn
Orange with chocolate sprinkles - can't remember if they are 0.5 or 1 syn each
These are all 31p each so much cheaper than Mullers.

It depends how much you've got to lose in total & whether it's much of a change from your usual diet - if you have 5+ stone to lose & lived on takeaways & chocolate then you might lose 7lbs+, otherwise between 2lbs & 6lbs is the norm - a lot who've joined my group recently have lost 2lbs in their first week, then another 2 or 3 lbs in the 2nd week.
The first time I did SW I actually gained in my second week (for no explicable reason) but then went on to lose 3/4lbs a week for months - it was easier when I was younger! 2lbs a week is my max these days0 -
Thank you that's good to know. I would like to lose two stone But the medication I'm on makes it very hard, Which is why I gave up before Christmas last time
I've always eaten healthily vegetables fruit etc no takeaways but have always had something sweet every day like two bars of chocolate or crisps or biscuits or cake or all of them lol0 -

Sounds like 2lbs so far is really good then! Medication does make things difficult, there's a few ladies in my group struggling with that but they keep coming as it prevents them gaining any more even if they have a stagnent few weeks.
I usually have to have something sweet most days too - keep a stock of things like options sachets (good for several things not just to make hot chocolate!), Freddo's, Hi-Fi or Alpen light bars & I like Kelloggs Squares too0
