    Hi all,

Hope everyone is well and those that have been struggling are feeling better. Also good luck to all those back at work/school this week.

WI last night and another 1.5 off, so just 7lbs to target. Very doubtful I'll get it before hols as only 3 WIs left and one of those is after this coming weekend away in France, but I'll do what I can and may well call target at whatever I get to before I go, we'll see. Will try and keep the longer bike rides up too - did around 60 miles last week and I'm sure it helped counteract Wednesday's binge.

Good luck to anyone weighing in today :)

12 stone is my target weight! It's still technically 'overweight' for my height, but I'm a size 12/14 when I get to that weight & everyone tells me I'd look awful if I got any lower (I think people say that only becue it's SUCH a change from what you were!) I suppose in reality I should be aiming for about 10 stone, but I'll worry about that when I get to 12!

I could have got my 1.5stone award this week if I'd not wasted it AND been out of the 17 stones! It's a LONG time since I've seen 16 on the scales! I'm sabotaging myself :(

    Skincatt I am 5.4. I started this at 16.13 stone. I'm now 13.13 and a big 16. When I started I was a 20 probably on the verge of being a 22.

I have been 12 stone before and at that I was a 14. I would need to be 10.7 stone to not be overweight and I don't know what on earth size that would make me.

My target is to reach 12 stone for Christmas and then I'll see. I've set 11 stone as my target for now.

Well.... Obviously junk food agrees with me - 2.5lbs off!! No idea how I've done that with all the choc, cake etc I've eaten along with a depressed takeaway on Saturday night. Hope it won't catch up.with me though I am making dynorod speed soup today for this weeks lunches ;)

Got my 1.5 stone award & into the 16's - haven't seen those since my daughter was concieved - she's 2 next month!!! :o

Next mini target is 1 St 3.5lbs away - the weight I was when I got married in 2010!!

Good luck to all weighing in today xx

Fab, well done! I would say just be careful it doesn't show next week but you're obviously already planning for that. Seeing the next number down on the scales is a great feeling isn't it? :D

2lb a week between now and Christmas and you'll have done it :) I know we've talked about this before but it's mad how much people vary in sizes - I started at 19.1 and a size 22, I'm now 12.6 (within healthy BMI, just) and a 12 top and 14-16 bottom. My first target is 11.13 but really if I want to be a 12 bottom I need to get closer to 11st. I sound similar to you and Catt in that respect but I am 5'11", how does that work?! :rotfl:

I have no idea how it works! Weight is indeed a funny thing. I often look at people's weight in the SW magazine and think that there is no way that people can weigh what it says (people happily at their target)!

So I've just worked out that in the month of August I've 7lbs off so I'm a bit miffed about that. I feel like I'm kidding myself at the minute that I'm doing it. There is just that much else going on at the minute that I'm feeling so stressed and fed up that I don't have the energy or focus to be how I used to be about it. Which is unfortunate.

I feel like I'm coming down with something this week as well which isn't good. Come Thursday after wi I'm going back to writing everything down whether I like it or not and I'll have to stick to the weekly syn allowance.

Its horrible when you feel like this isn't it and I'm feeling so blooming bloated and fat this week:(

I feel the same way lantanna, really poorly - so I've been eating more than usual (although sticking to my SW soup for lunches). It's the exercise I'm missing though, got a really sore throat so can't do anything that makes me out of breath.

I'm sure we all know exactly how you're feeling lantanna. Writing down every morsel that passes your lips is a very good exercise. I've often done that when I need to get focused. I used to write in columns of HEX, syns, free foods and SFs and that helps show if you've perhaps overdone the free foods at the expense of the SFs. Alongside I keep a weekly tally of syns, starting from a 'bank' of 105 and subtracting as I go along.

On the weight/size discussion: I'm 5ft 9 and at my target weight of 10 st 7 I'm a slim size 12 or a 10 in something expensive! I started off at 13st 9.5 when I was bursting out of 16s. It was refusing to buy 18s that got me on to SW.

Blodwen, I've been thinking about you calling target. Were you planning to 'go it alone'? I still go to group every 2/3 weeks and more regularly if I'm wavering.;) Other than catching up with people, if I weight in regularly I still have access to the website. Where are you going in France? (is there a nosy smiley?).

    Doing well today. EE menu:

B: NAS Ribena, fried egg, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
    L: probably a banana:o
D: pork casserole (onion, mushroom, courgette, carrots, beansprouts, peppers) with boiled rice
Syns: squirt of sauce, various in casserole sauce (honey, oil, sherry, cornflour:eek:) but only a small spoon of each and shared with DH so not too disastrous I hope.

Big pot of SW Bolognese in SC.:D
