Frogga Dont take this the wrong way but I could really slap you, you have lost an amazing amount of weight. Some of us would give their right arm to have lost 12lb in 6 weeks, that's 2lb a week and isn't that what everyone says is the best amount to lose to keep the weight off? I'm sorry if I sound mean but we've hopped along side of you propping you up when you started to fall and encouraged you all the way. So what I'm saying is be proud of that loss forget the 'only losing what you'd regained', remember the line you drew? It was a new start and you did brilliantly, you really have so keep it going and those trousers WILL be falling off you.
Remember we are all hopping along with you for support and Its bloody hard work hopping on one leg you know :rotfl:

(Hope you still like me after that :o)
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I'm only losing what I've regained tOo plus another 3 stone  & I would kill to have lost 12lbs in 6 weeks with only 4 days off! I only have to have one day off & I gain 1lb! I've had the whole of this week 'off' & seriously dreading tomorrows weigh in :( Could be 3/4/5 lbs
Did ok yesterday - fruit salad for brunch & chicken, roast pots & veg for dinner, nothing else. Today will be similar.
Why, oh why could I have not noticed putting on 6.5 st over the last 10 years?

Always TIE :A I know what you are saying but I didn't think I really was 15 stone at the beginning of the 6 weeks. I thought it was mostly 'temporary' weight as I'd been stuffing my face for the whole of the last week of term. I thought a lot of it was just volume of food in my belly and I'd lose half a stone in the first week :o Hmm that'll learn me ;)

I'm gonna be good for the next week, the cycling to work had better help  It will be 9 miles a day in total. Then I'm really hoping to be at least 14 st 1lb on Monday to have made it a round 6 stone lost (this time:cool:) and then I'll be ready for the 6 Week Challenge that Magic is doing.

Like Lantana I'd like to lose 2 stone by Christmas. That would make me 12st, can't wait as that was the lowest I ever got to after getting really fat and I know I look much better then :D

I can top that Catt, I've lost and put back on 8 stone 4 times!! You think I'd have noticed that! You think I'd have learned!

So my total weight lost during my Six Week Summer Holiday Challenge was ...12lb :o I had hoped for so much more.

I know I am in danger of a bad eating day today. The scales have annoyed me, and I usually now eat to make myself feel better. Great choice Frogga, Oh that's bound to work don't you think? :wall:

I'm going to join what's going to be a long line of your virtual SW friends telling you that

    LOSING 12lbs IS BRILLIANT!!!

Please don't sabotage yourself just because you hate the scales.

By this time next week you could have lost a stone. Try and stay 'in the zone' and stick with your good habits. Cycling to school will help keep you fit and toned but it's healthy eating that will get your weight down. Have you sorted all your lunches and snacks for school? By Christmas you could be 2st lighter and by Easter you could be exactly where you'd like to be. It really is worth the effort.:)

Don't worry Maman I'm feeling ok, don't think I will binge, I don't have any desire to do it at all at the moment :D

You're right, one more week, and then I could be a stone lighter than the summer. Just hang on til Christmas, then be at goal at Easter (which is my birthday :D)

    Lantanna we are twins

I'm back from a lovely few days away. It wasn't a complete SW disaster but lots of flexi syns were consumed! As I don't weigh at home, my plan is to be sensible until Thursday's WI. Then I'll have a starting point for my virtual 6 week countdown. I want to be right at the bottom of my target range by the end of that, maybe a 1lb within as I don't want to start falling off the bottom again! My main goal is to tighten up on my meal planning and snacking at home which has got a bit lax so that most syns are kept for weekends and eating out.

I stayed in a Holiday Inn for the first time at the weekend and (assuming menu is same across the chain) the breakfasts were SW heaven.
    • whole fruits (apples, pears etc)
    • bowls of fruits (berries, melon)
    • All Bran, Bran Flakes, Weetabix
    • Muller Lights
    • hard boiled eggs
    • lean ham
    • smoked haddock, poached eggs, boiled eggs cooked to order
    • hot buffet with baked beans, bacon and fresh tomatoes
    • Ryvita
My only gripe (and this applies to virtually everywhere I eat out) is that bread is rather unspecified. Granary, malted or just plain brown is often available but rarely wholemeal.

I'm not on commission from Holiday Inn;) but would certainly recommend. It certainly helped me to have a massive SW breakfast each day.

    EE for today:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
    L: LO veg bubble&squeak type
D: HM burger, SW wedges, tomatoes, mushrooms and peas

I'm out this afternoon to an ice-cream parlour:eek: Hopefully last treat before schools start tomorrow.
