Well done some fantastic losses there guys! It really helps to read about everyone doing so well - so keep on posting!

I have just skimmed through the posts, so I hope everyone is doing ok, and no one is struggling at the moment.

I'm plodding on still, I cooked from scratch again tonight and made a recipe from my SW folder, however I forgot how much soy sauce I needed so I went online but couldn't find the recipe (sorry I can't remember who else mentioned it) but it frustrated me as I know it was a slimming world recipe, I just can't remember where from. Anyway I wont be making it again - it was really bland (even with 2tbs of soy sauce). I don't know about anyone else, but I find it very hit and miss with the recipes. It's quite de-motivating to spend all that time preparing food, only for it to taste pants! I'm thinking it maybe SW friendly because I threw half of it away!

Anyway, if anyone wants to share any receipes that they swear by I'd be most grateful. As I'm diabetic I tend to go for my protein based dishes, but any recommendation is good!

I must admit for the first time in almost 3 weeks, I've got the munchies for something sweet. I've had my Hi-fi bars for my HEB, and a pot of sugar free jelly for 0.5 syns, but it hasn't hit the spot. I'm getting fairly restless with it so may well take myself off to bed early and read.

I hope everyone has a lovely and 'good' weekend, I will try and get on to post at some point.

Have you tried the fanta chicken becks81?
Had it last week (there's a youtube vid of a skinny man making it, which I followed) and it was so nice!! Just like a sweet and sour chicken. I replaced the tinned pineapple (tins have sins!!) with fresh and the frozen chicken for fresh.
Planning to make a recipie for the burgers with syn free tomato ketchup later today (from lastest SW) mag- will let u all know if it's worth the effort!
Anyway I'm off to the gym soon, it's full of young hunks on a sat morning which always motivates me to go!!

Bad day yesterday, Bournemouth Air Show so took lots of kids and picnic and ended up nibbling some of the less sw stuff, like millionaire shortbread bites. They weren't eve that nice, but I just got a sweet thing going and found it hard to resist. Even had some Haribos, and they are truly vile.

Just a blip I hope, back on it now.

Enjoy weekend everyone, looking sunny here, hope it's good everywhere else too.
  • *waves* I'm still here. But reading mostly & not posting. I've had a week of celebration meals but am back on the straight and narrow :) No idea of any gain as not weighing in until sept/oct lol

    Hi folks

After not sleeping very well last night was woken up by my
DS coming have to daft oclock - about 4.30 this morning, and having to get up for work at 5am I didn't dare go back to sleep

So for breakfast I have some fruit..... (think here lies the mistake) because by 10.30/11.00 am I was starving....... and ended up grabbing a sandwich from the shop ( I work in MR S) so easy....

What can I have for tea, that's going to limit the damage done, with the sandwich....

    Smokies ........
