Morning All , Happy Friday :j

A STS is better than a gain Inazuma xx

Well done tBear, to lose while on holiday is very impressive.

Hi Beanie, I was thinking about leaving weighing, but I'd really like to know how much I eventually lost during my 6 Week Summer Holiday Challenge ;) I was at 10lb, then I had that blip for 4 days, now I'm back on track so I'd like to know my 'score'. I'd love to be under 14st. If it said 13st 13lb I'd be really chuffed. The worry is if it doesn't! If it says I've put on even more I might just have to throw myself at next doors cat

Glad you put on less than you expected. I thought you were pushing your luck trying to win the 'who could put on the most' award, I meen, Nessie's growing a baby in her belly for flip sake, you're never gonna beat that

Feels a bit like last day of the holidays today. Even though I'm not back until Tuesday, the weekends don't count as you get them all the time, and Monday is gonna be a 'get ready for school' day :( 6 weeks soon went didn't they? Still, only 7 weeks until half term :j

As long as I don't lose the plot in the next 4 days I'll be going back to school in a much better state, mentally and physically, than when I left it. And as I'll be cycling to work everyday, 4 miles there and 4 miles home, I should see even more change in the next few weeks. I really hope so. Am feeling much better :D

Have a great day everyone, be good

    xxx

Look Frogga! Smokies giving you a run for your money on the small font stakes :rotfl:.

This made me :rotfl: Tbh I think it is the colour Frogga rather than the size, and that font is a little more difficult to read than Arial or whatever the default is.

Am worrying about weighing on Monday in case I haven't lost as much as I'd like :o We all know what happened last time I hopped on the scales _pale_

Must keep it together, must keep it together...

It may not be as much as you'd like but any loss is the right direction, and even a STS is good if you've had a bad week. Even if you don't lose, 10lbs over 6 weeks is great! :)

Well done MIT and tbear, just brilliant! :j

    Welcome Smokies :hello:

That's not bad Beanie and you seem ok with it, well done :)

There must have been something in the air on Weds night as I went a bit mad too - went to cinema and popped into the shop to get a few bits beforehand (for home mainly), most of which then ended up in my gob during and after the film :( Fast day yesterday and the bloated feeling has gone so hopefully I'll still lose this week. Cycled to work every day and have taken a longer route home each day just for fun and variety (~7 miles instead of 4.5) so hopefully that'll counteract the rubbish. Away this weekend but will be busy tomorrow so no time to eat rubbish and will be sensible on Sunday.

If I don't get on again, have a great weekend folks :D

Well done to the losers esp MIT!

Blowden I feel your pain - I'd 0.5 lb on - not a disaster but I'm definitely stalling and struggling :( I really just seem to have lost my motivation and interest in the whole thing.

That's the way things go with me I seem to be able to really focus on healthy eating and then something happens to upset me (generally in work) and I'm off on one rampaging through the cupboards etc and just want to comfort eat.

Had a Chinese last night after wi too and do you know what I didn't even enjoy it and felt totally bloated and ill after it.

So anyway a big fat line is being drawn under it all.

I've a week until next wi and I'm determined this week will be good.

Going to get the groceries after work so will stock up on some fresh and healthy food. THink I am getting too samey with what I am eating and need to get the recipes out.

Thing is with me though if I have something stressful going on I can't think about anything else - never mind cook.

God I'm a nightmare lol :rotfl:

L; leftover pasta bake with courgette, onion, tomato & mushrooms from last night (1/2 Hea)
D; veg sausage, egg, tomato, mushrooms, sw chips as I'm on my own & this often stops me from picking :o Hi-fi bar (HEb)
Then an early night as hubby's not coming home.

Not hungry enough for jacket potato & beans so have had a salad with some left over boiled potatoes.

Need to add a few more syns - just checked SW online and the cheese sauce is actually 3.5 syns. Also had a little spread on my toast so another 2 syns.

Will be a total of 9 syns today, so OK with that.

  • Hi! Please can I join in?
I did slimming world years ago, got to target then forgot about food optimising and put it all back on!! was thinking of myself as a thin person until I realised none of my clothes fit me anymore!
Anyway got out the old books a weeks ago last Mon and started again (not going to a class due to childcare etc) when I weighed myself this Mon I had lost 4lb! Very pleased but can already feel myself slipping and just needed a bit of on-line support.
Some lovely person brought krispy kreme donuts to work today and it was so hard to say no, but I managed!!
Anyway good luck to all for your weigh ins this week, it's so worth it, in the end (well that's what I will keep telling myself!)
