I will get prize for biggest gain this week.

I will beat you to it - not weighed in for 2 weeks & a few staples in my 'diet' have been white bread with butter, S&V crisps & gallons of milk/strawberry milkshakes :o

What can i say - that's what bean wants! :rotfl:

Nessie - lol, my DD wanted Haribo Tangfastics & McCoys crisps - what can I say ;) Surprisingly I didn't put on any weight with her - it was all baby but I lived on toast after she was born & so gained afterwards - doh! Try & batch cook lots of small meals for the freezer which you can shove in the microwave - I didn't & wish I had done for the first 3 months!

Lillian, if it's a full English you're going for on Saturday it may not be too bad. And surely you can give your mum SW stuff if she's staying. I'm having hotel breakfast Friday to Sunday and I generally have fruit followed by lean bacon, baked beans, usually a fried egg and sometimes tomato and mushrooms. I try to avoid toast as they rarely have wholemeal and reckon on a few syns for oil. Much better than croissants or Danish and latte.

Thank you that's a good point. I will see what I can do. I won't just tell myself to forget it and start on Monday but I won't beat myself up if the weekend goes to pot!

Making a cheesy veg pasta bake for OH, myself and my folks tonight - going to try the Colmans cheese sauce packet (8 syns - although just noticed the four cheese one is 6.5...) as I don't really have time to make from scratch, and grate my HEA cheese over it. We have garlic and cheese bread in the fridge too but I will be good and just have one piece with a big salad. Will try to steer clear of syns today.

So, my plan for today (EE):

Breakfast: 2 egg omelette with mushrooms, peppers and tomatoes; 35g porridge oats (HEB) made with water and ff yoghurt with banana on the top; bowl strawberries.

    Mid morning snack: Apple, plum

Lunch: Salad (rocket, runner beans, tomato, pepper, Bernard Matthews turkey chunks, v low fat cottage cheese)

Afternoon snack: Sugar snap peas, peach

Dinner: Cheesey veg pasta bake (HEA and 2 syns for cheese sauce) with slice garlic bread (think about 6 syns) and salad; Rolo pudding (8.5 syns).

16.5 syns altogether. Maybe I'll leave the garlic bread... although I am doing my C25K run tonight AND pilates at lunchtime....

Total £4151.44 | £2900.30 of £7051.74 paid off since diary started October 2024.

As far as I can see, the ordinary chocolate sandwich bars are 6 syns and the flavoured ones are 6.5, TIE.

Thanks Inazuma that's less than my old book so well within my syns for the day.

Having another go with MFP today to see if I can get closer to what I should be eating instead of not eating enough. Wish me luck lol.

Lantanna - the trouble is I didn't!! Maybe I enjoyed the choc, but the rest of it was 'just because' Still got the bloody headache.

B; toast & a little spread (5+2syns?) I had to get something in me before I was sick _pale_
    S; Bloody kinder bar (3.5syns)
    L; Noodles shared with dd
D; SW free tuna pasta bake with garlic bread for hubby only.

Lots & lots of sf squash to get it all out my system :o That's all the syns I'm having today, though really I shouldn't have had any :(

I've finally made it back into target by 1.5lb:j:j. Had a great loss of 2.5lb - something I've never done before in all the time I've been doing SW.

It's absolutely brilliant timing as I'm off on holiday next week for nearly a month and when I get back I'll have 5 days to try and lose anything I put on whilst I'm away! With a bit of luck (and a fair wind) I won't have to pay when I get back.

    Having an EE day today:

    B - banana
L - Ryvita (HEB) and pate (3 syns)
    S - strawberries
    D - pork & bean stew

HEA will be milk in teas throughout the day

    Syns: small nougat bar (18 syns, I think!) pate 3 syns = 21

Shouldn't have really eaten the nougat but was very hungry when I went shopping - a fatal mistake! Will definitely need to cut back on the syns tomorrow.
