MFP is myfitnesspal I believe tie. I haven't used it myself but I believe it's calorie counting. I suppose it's a bit like the SW fast forward for if you're stuck in a rut.

On tonight's discussion, I suppose I do eat fairly fast compared with some friends I eat with regularly. DH and I are fairly evenly matched. My problem is I drink quickly.:(;)

Thanks magic, glad I didn't eat them then as 10 wouldn't be enough once I started :D

Following on from me saying I don't eat enough, I downloaded myfitnesspal. Now according to that I should be eating 1200 cals a day but with the exercise done today (walking dog) it went up to 1365 . Now with everything I listed above I consumed 1134 which was under so had a choc biscuit (also within syns) which took me to 1259. So this confirms I am not eating enough :o which probably explains why I am struggling to lose anything significant.

On the flip side did one for hubby who thinks he does not eat much and he was more than 1000 cals over his daily limit  made me laugh though when it said if he ate like this every day for 5 weeks he'd only gain 1lb, yeah right :rotfl:

Bloody choc biscuit has given me toothache, so so not worth the pain grrrrrr

    Morning all
I really LOL at the comments and posts last night there were some brilliant turns of phrases in there

Looking back at all the posts I can see Frogga being busy drawing lots of lines today

Funny wide awake this morning and I can honestly say that I feel the difference following the Chinese last night
    To explain.......
I have been really good lately with maybe the odd bit of junk thrown in but a meal full of MSG and crap and I am not as raring to go

I reckon if there is such a thing as. Food hangover I have one so its actually done me good as it is showing that when I don't eat total junk I definitely feel better in myself

Really pleased lots of people going to have a crack at the 6 week challenge
One additional bit I am adding into it for myself- not putting it on another people obviously but ..
For the time I am doing it I have to eat SLOWER (trust me that's still fast ;-)

I am interested to see if it makes a difference

Have a brilliant day everyone and good luck to all people having weigh ins tonight

I know there are lots on Thursdays from comments earlier on in the thread in week

    Good morning lovely ladies,

Oh dear there have been a few little piggies on here haven't there :naughty:

I, however, have been perfect and I didn't even have my chocolate last night  I don't know what's wrong with some of you? This dieting lark is easy, get a grip already :D

You've done very well travelinglight to lose as much as you have already. It does seem people struggle to get the last bit off. I wonder why? Maybe we're more motivated at the beggining and then we 'settle' into it? Good luck with the last little push. We're all here with you

Was another good day foodwise yesterday. I did panic around lunch time as we were still out and we didn't get home til 2pm so then I quickly cooked my corn on the cob. Mr Frog doesn't plan the day around meals like I do. 'If we go out, we go out, and we get back when we get back, and we eat when we eat 'is his thought process :wall:

In fact, he did get hungry, and said 'oooo KFC, great!' But luckily that isn't a pull for me as I wouldn't ever eat a dead fried chicken in breadcrumbs anyway :D I did fancy some of the chips though, but it wasn't that hard to resist. Mr Frog felt a bit bad on my behalf but he is on holiday, and he never has KFC so why shouldn't he have it once in a while?

We were busy working away in the garage until late, and I was aware that I hadn't had my chocolate treat yet, but when we came in and settled in front of the telly I just fancied an apple, so I left the chocolate in the fridge. I had the choice of chocolate or apple, and I actually wanted the apple. That's because I was allowed to have the chocolate. Maybe that's the way to go, if I start looking at healthy food as 'bad', maybe I'll want it more :D

Have a great day people, let's keep going

Oh God, that'll teach me. I've woken up after 8.5 hours sleep with a killer headache & feeling tired & lethargic. Will I ever learn :(

Well at least I've got 5 days to try & rectify something of the naughtiness. Haven't read back on the few posts after I went to bed, but I hope everyone's well xx

Well done with your email nessie :D Have you not had that baby yet? You've been pregnant for about 2 years haven't you? ;) I don't know about you, but I'm getting bored waiting for it :D

    :rotfl:
    Still 5 weeks to go!
TBH time has flown by so far - which is fine while i am at work, but it can slow down a bit in a weeks time - be good to have naps when i want & cook some healthy food!

On a weird note though - managed to get myself another blood test as trace of glucose in my pee yesterday - all from eating a box of melon, pineapple and mango for breakfast - the midwife said that it was prob the cause & if i looked at the eating programmes for gestational diabetes - you would only be allowed to eat 5 grapes at a time - massive amount of sugar!

I am so glad that the weather is cooling down (touch wood) and i can 'feel' autumn around the corner - best time of year for me for food - squashes, root veg, casseroles, soups & bubble & squeak nom nom nom (rather than yucky salad!)
