    Thank you!! :D

OH loves rice pudding so I could tweak those ideas to suit him!

We had "magic porridge" for brekkie today and he was highly approving of that!

Plain couscous is free - the ainsley harriot ones vary in syn value - let me know what one it is & i can check for you x

I use couscous for breakfast - make the couscous plain - once cooled mix in yog & fruit & sweetener if needed & leave in fridge overnight & enjoy cold in the morning - i also do this with left over plain rice too!

B - Sweet rice scramble 0 sins (leftover long grain rice, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, sweetener, frylight and 3 eggs),

L- fusilli pasta with pak choi, fresh orange slices, freshly ground black pepper and Frylight Salad Light Caesar style salad spray (1cal per spray, so I assume this is free :p) - hopefully still 0 sins so I can maybe have a bit of choccy or a cakey thing later

This time I am also trying to keep a record of my fluid intake to make sure I don't get dehydrated

F:[STRIKE] 2[/STRIKE] 3 pints of water, [STRIKE] 1[/STRIKE] 2x fennel & nettle tea with stevia
The cold never bothered me anyway

    Day 3

    Milk for tea as HEA

B - magic porridge - oats (HEB) yog (1) blueberries (free)

L - left over fried rice, egg, onion, peppers, peas, pork, mushrooms (free)

T - fritatta - egg, sliced new pots, mushrooms, peas, onions, mixed peppers (free)

Will have to syn some tomato ketchup to have with fritatta!!

Will have yogs, plums, nectarine as snack as and when.....and maybe some crispbreads to increase my syns.

Or possibly 1/2 a Picnic which I think is around 6 syns!! ;)

    Just adding.....

Maybe I will add some cheese to the fritatta and get some extra syns that way......but it wont be as tasty as a Picnic!!

Thanks, what flavourings do you add if any?

I assume you mean to the couscous? I usually just have it plain as there is plenty of flavour in the casserole.

He likes the flavoured cous cous (saw a huge jar of the Ainsley Harriett Somethingorother Sensation one in Costco the other day)! I could decant that for him to take dry if the syns arent too bad.

The Ainsley Harriett Spice Sensation is 2 syns for 100g packet, made with water only, on Green and EE. Obviously horrendously high on Red!

The flavoured couscous are between 1.5 and 3.5 for the 100g packet.

Moroccan Medley is lowest at 1.5 and Sun Dried Tomato & Garlic the highest at 3.5.

Does anyone have a recipe for creamy cheese sauce for cauliflower cheese or fish pie? I have use yoghurt and egg before but it curdled somewhat and baked hard like a quiche.
I have just used morrisons instant cheese sauce which is lovely 3syns for a third of a pkt
Any with low syns or free if you can think of anything ta

LOL! Bought 3 choc bars for £1 yesterday thinking I can use them to boost my syns & put them in my husbands glovebox (I'm using his car) which he told me was air conditioned.... I just got them out this afternoon after a very warm day here & found a liquid aero & 2 semi liquid kitkats.... ah well! Will have to halve them as best I can after I freeze them, lol.
Sugar-free jelly is a good snack to have in small pots in the fridge - 1/2 syn per pot (made up from the packet - 4 servings) & Mini Milk ice lollies are only 1.5 syns :) I love treats that low ;)
Quorn curry tonight, but not sure how to make up my 1/3 SF.
    C xx
