Fab thanks! I have 2 left over so may freeze one. I don't like them just done in the microwave, I like really crispy yummy skin:D

If you re heat in microwave, they wont be so crispy, not sure if the oven will crisp them up again tho.

I like a tomato veggie sauce over mine, or a bol sauce.
  • Hi Folks - I do 5 days of red and 2 days of either green or EE. I have PCOS so need to keep my blood sugar levels down and therefore need to eat a low carb diet. Red days allow me to do that successfully. Although today funnily enough I had an EE day:

B: Weetabix (B) and Milk (A), Banana and raspberries
    Snack: Strawbs
Lunch: Noodle Box, BBQ beef, yoghurt
Dinner: extra lean mince beef, potatoes, carrots, onions and green beans, sprinkle of cheese (3 syns for schwartz shepherds pie mix), 2 satsumas
Also had 2 chocolates and 1 toffee at work today.
    Syns =8 syns

I got these lovely single white pie dishes from the £1 shop and my hubby made our shepherds pie in the dish, it was lovely! It's amazing how even a change in the way you eat makes you feel differntly!

Well done to all the losers!!!! YAY!!!

Hello, I have nipped in from Flylady thread. I have done SW more times than I can count, but always fall over as I end up not having the cash to go to class and then when I owe more in back fees than to rejoin, I think I will try and go it alone. Before I know where I am, I am back where I started and then some!

I am currently doing the 60 day Insanity exercise program which has its own nutrition programme, but I cannot afford the foods it expects you to eat on its 5 meal a day programme, so I have decided to restart SW from the books again solo.

By exercise alone I have lost 4.5lb in the last two weeks and I am exclusively b/feeding a baby so I am not going to be too religious about keeping under 15 syns and you may see more HEXA boxes from me than normal for the calcium I need, but I am committed to getting this weight off.
Here is my diary for today
    Green Day
B Milk HEXA, boiled rice with stevia sweetener
L boiled rice, minced beef HEXB onion tomatoes
D spaghetti, 1oz cheddar HEXA 1tbsp mayo 1 clove of garlic, sprinkle of herbs
    S 2 eggs in frylight
    S Milk HEXA
S bottle of Lucozade during exercise

    Fit log
    Insanity DVD
    30 minutes tummy crunches

Time to think about what I fancy for tomorrow, found some Pak Choi at the back of the fridge, so will probably be something chinese-y!

Right time settle little one back to sleep. Will be back in the morning
The cold never bothered me anyway

    Skint Breeder welcome:wave:

Newyorkdreams that seems like a plan to me.
    5days RED then weekends EE
I suspect that carbs/sugars don't agree with me either.
I get terrible fatigue if I over eat them.
I do have an under active thyroid condition that slows me down and get random muscle pains. However have felt really well on SW even though I have a very slow weight loss.
Think will try 5 Red and 2 EE so that way I won't feel so deprived.
I love my potatoes and such.

Hello, love the name, does it mean you have 5 kids?:)

As you refer to calcium, I too was concerned that the plans dont give enough calcium . I calculated ammounts and talked the leader about it - she said dont worry you get calcium from all the veg etc as well as milk and cheese. I really dont think she was prepared for the question and he answer wasnt assuring enough. there is no way anyone is getting enough from the diet and veg has tiny ammounts.
I know its expensive, but tinned salmon has extra calcium, and cottage cheese will add more too.
    Are you taking suppplements too?
I dont think extra milk will damage your plans much.:)

Thats a nice idea about the pie dishes, makes it posh as if you are eating out.
I am lucky to have a DH who loves to cook and when he prepares food for me its always perfectly arranged . Its annoys him when I do fried eggs all broken up as I love them that way :)

I had a cravings day yest, but managed to ignore and bypass them all.:j there is NO choc in the house now. Well, I know DH has an emergency hidden stash for me, but I refrained from pleading:rotfl:

    Happy Eating everyone

I'm pretty sure when you're breast feeding you get an extra allowance or two of A choices do you not? Or have I made that up?
