This is what I've ate today not sure what categories it's supposed to go in as I'm still learning but here goes
Breakfast 2 slices of white danish loaf with 30g cheddar cheese
Lunch wholemeal wrap with corned beef and salad
Tea I'm having 2 tesco meat free sausage (1 1/2 syns each) SW Chips, baked beans and a slice of danish loaf.
I have had some skimmed milk with 3 cups of tea and 1 sugar.
I hope I've not been too naughty.
I also did a 15 minute walk around the block (about a mile)

Hi, bit of a lurker here, never posted on here before so bear with me! Have just re-joined slimming world online today, hoping to get back on track as I lost the plot a bit over the past year (did SW for a few months last year, had reasonable success and then just stopped trying - no logic at all! I think I had the "well now I know I can lose weight so I dont need to try hard anymore" mentality - obviously flawed and here I am trying to lose weight again!)
What I'd like to know is, does anybody have a recipe for a low-syn white sauce (the kind you can make into parsley sauce for fish, or cheese sauce for pasta, that kind of thing)? The only way I know how to make it is with copious amounts of butter/marge and flour which is obviously not going to be low-syn! I'll be using skimmed milk out of my HEA so not worried about cutting down on that.
Any ideas gratefully received!0 -

So about 20 syns - not ideal every day as you won't lose weight - and no superfree food except the salad - it should be 1/3 of every meal or thereabouts (if you eat superfree as snacks). Do you write down what you've had so you remember you've already eaten your HEx's? xx0 -
Thanks Skint catt
theres me thinking I've done well
Oh well here's for a better day tomorrow. I'm unsure of what is superfree still I'll look in my book

Most packets of white sauce mix are about 4 syns - so if this is serving more than 1 person, it doesn't work out too bad. This is how I do my cheese sauce for lasagne/mac & cheese etc as the recipes that are syn free involve Quark and weird ingredients which never taste right & are yuck, lol xx0 -

Did you actually get to start at a group last week? Have you got the books? Did your consultant explain the plan(s)? Have you got internet access to the SW sit?
I have to go now to get our supper but I'll be back later.:)0 -
Steph - and any others I reply to too - I apologise if I sound 'sharp' in my replies. I'm stupidly busy (though procrastinating about most of it!), so don't get to read through & slowly reply in detail as much as I'd like to - I'm really nice usually & will look up any syn values anyone wants when I'm around & DD is in bed0
