You're very high on your syns, could you try dropping them down to give you a boost? Maybe try not putting spread on your bread that you're having with soup, it's getting dunked anyway so will be moist enough. You can mix and match your days, some people say they have better results on red days though.
Good luck xx
Thanks for the info. The syns are a bit high, but I thought that if I have them sparingly the rest of the week I would be fine. The veggies, can you tell me where they are short? would it be at dinner?
I thought breakfast and the lunch soup would be fine but if not tell me and I shall change. But thanks again for bothering about me.0 -
wizkid - what veg was in the soup? It would be ok if lots of veg, but lentils aren't superfree. Neither are potato's or peas, so dinner needs more superfree.
The superfree you've had are only tomato's & a pear for dinner, a clemantine & toms at brekkie & an apple at lunch.0 -

As long as your lentil & bacon soup has plenty of other veggies in it then it is probably fine but I think you need to up the superfree with dinner as potatoes & peas don't count they are just 'free' - the tomatoes do - it just depends on the proportions.0 -

Hope this is okThanks for the info. The syns are a bit high, but I thought that if I have them sparingly the rest of the week I would be fine. The veggies, can you tell me where they are short? would it be at dinner?

I'd tend to agree with Sukey and Lillian, a bit short on SF. Breakfast looks fine, lunch depends on what is in the soup, tea is a bit light as peas are just free, not SF. Depends on the proportions of all those things though- if you had half a plate of tomatoes but only a few peas then what I said wouldn't count!
As for red and green, you don't HAVE to stick to the 1/3 SF but it is good practice just to make sure you get a good amount of fruit and veggies in. The odd day of not having them wouldn't matter though - that kind of goes for EE tbh, best to have them but if you don't manage it one day it's not the end of the world642 syns in a twix so better not

I just deleted the posts from wizkid I was going to comment on. My lentil soup is full of carrots and onions but I agree with what everyone has said.;)
Changing plans is one of the strategies that our consultant often suggests if you're in a bit of a rut. I kept that as an option when I was getting to target. Not much use for herbivorous frogs though.:(
I must admit I'm a bit of a subversive when it comes to SW. I've always saved syns for weekends and I have my SF across the day rather than worry about a third with every meal. I always have a mass of veg with my supper and perhaps nothing but fruit or veg for my lunch. This balances off boiled egg or cereal for breakfast. What sukey is doing (extra HEXs) is what SW recommends for maintaining. I tend to stick with SW but have meals or days (or even weeks when on holiday) when I go off plan. I've also relaxed a little with recipes that I banned previously. So cauliflower cheese is back on the menu but I suppose that's mainly HEXs anyway. I've been at target for two years this month and only once went over my target range. I have gone under many times and had to pay again.
Like Blodwen was suggesting, the basic plans do work for most people exactly as they are but for some people or at some stages in the journey you need to do a bit of tweaking. SW do recognise this in a way with things like Success Express and is it Fast Forward?.
I've enjoyed my sausage and onion baguette in the pub. I was good and only drank fizzy water although I had allowed for wine if I wanted it. Enjoyed catching up with old friends/colleagues sitting in the sunshine.
Back on plan for supper but may have the wine I didn't have earlier IYSWIM.0
