Blodwen you're so right! I just didn't want to hear it. I want to be able to eat as much as I want fruitwise. But as you've told me upteen times before that's nonsense. It takes a while for a thickie frog to catch on

When I look back over the week I've eaten tons and tons of fruit. Really loads. Oh well, he he, I'm starting day one of the last two weeks. Gonna hop on the scales on last day of August and not before.

    Good luck everyone :D

On the contrary, I would say that as someone who has got to target and pretty much stayed there you probably have a lot of helpful info you could impart in the same way that Maman is helpful in saying how she did it and showing us the perspective of maintaining. I for one would be interested in any tips since I hope to be in your position soon! :)

Thanks Blodwen - that is just the sort of straight talking I need to motivate me - I shall try to be of more help in the future :o - congratulations on WOTY - you must be chuffed.

    What an inspiration

sukeyboo~ As a target member ( a year last week ) I see where you are coming from.
I need to come here to stay at target :rotfl:

You have done so well staying at target for a year beanie - I am almost a year too (next week).

I will try and post menus to give people an idea of what I am eating to maintain - I always do EE but I do have an extra HEA & HEB as I am maintaining

    Today's menu:
B: Boiled egg, slice of wholemeal toast from 800g loaf (HEB1), x2 laughing cow light (1/2 HEA - the rest will go on milk in tea)
small fruit juice (2 syns), bowl of strawberries/melon/grapes
L: Wholemeal roll 60g (HEB2), x3 Babybel Light (HEA2) - lots of watercress/cucumber/tomato, ML Greek style FF yogurt (1/2 syn), Nectarine
T: Grilled Sprats with mashed potato & large mixed salad
    S & D: Banana, apple, tea, water

Syns for the day (planned!) = 2 1/2 - I am one of the people that go light on syns during the week so I can have wine syns at the weekend ;)

In some ways I am very lucky.
As I have cerebral palsy I use a lot more energy to move around than most of you will.
So that actually gives me quite a lot of flexibility on the eating front.
So every cloud & all that :rotfl:

Yay, thanks to my day of water yesterday I lost the lb I put on last week - better than another gain! Im having a weird day today - a bit 'meh' about everything, but back on plan 100% tomorrow & I'm not going to go wild today.

If someone's asked for help & hasn't got it then the way to do it is to ask again, not have a go at a long standing Frog! That'll turn us off you even more. I often have to ask several times on this thread or others - sometimes I don't get a reply at all - but maybe that's because no-one knows the answer!

See - every cloud has a silver lining ;) True though - they say fidgeters are always slim too!

wizkid - you can do any plan on any day you like as long as you stick to it for that whole day. I always found red a good weight loser though it costs a bit in meat!

Yes it's 1/3 of the plate. I would say you haven't got quite enough veggies in there but others will be along to advise soon. You're very high on your syns, could you try dropping them down to give you a boost? Maybe try not putting spread on your bread that you're having with soup, it's getting dunked anyway so will be moist enough. You can mix and match your days, some people say they have better results on red days though.

    Good luck xx

    Hi wizkid,

I am sure you can mix up plans but as I only do EE I wouldn't be sure of the rules regarding superfree on those plans - I am sure someone else who is more knowledgeable will help.

Looking at your plan you seem to be a bit light on SF with your meals for today and maybe 17 syns is a bit high if you are doing it on a regular basis?
