Thanks for the kicks/sympathy folks - new day, start again. I'm off to plan my food for the rest of the week, that really helps me. Welcome to new peeps. Onwards and upwards (or downwards)

Good for you Inazuma for only eating 1 bar of chocolate! Don't let it ruin your week.

The dreaded weigh-in this morning. + 1lb on. Quite ok with that, seeing what a horrible week I've had. So glad I didn't put the full 4 lbs back on I lost last week. Went swimming last night for half an hour at a time when I usually sit and nibble in front of the tv. Still had all my HEb when I came back as I was hungry. I love keeping my HEb crackers for evenings, looks like I am eating lots, crackers piled with cucumber, tomato, some black pepper, and some laughing cow light. Even the teenagers want it now cause they say it looks so good, lol

    yesterday's menu:
    b: banana, yogurt
l: tinned salmon, salad (tom, cucumber, beetroot)(2syns l/f mayo)
t: sausage casserole (Tesco light choice cumberland sausages 2 syns)
carrots, cabbage, broccoli, cauli, onion, tinned tom,
HEa: laughing cow light/splash milk in coffee
    HEb: 6 crackerbread

strawberries, blackberries, packet of quavers (4.5 syns)

Not enough fluids, really need to work on that.

    Have a good day peeps

    Hello all,

Hi to the newbies and good luck Catt and anyone else weighing in today.

Just as an update to my post a couple of weeks ago, my partner continued on as usual and the weight loss has re-started, and he's lost half a stone in two weeks.

As an aside I have a hiatus hernia and would usually take Omeprazole every day to ward off acid indigestion. In the ten weeks that I've followed SW I've only taken five tablets in total.

Well done to you both, and it's great that your hernia symptoms are improving. I used to take omeprazole regularly after having couple of ulcers from having to take NSAIDs for a back injury years ago but since doing Slimming World I've not had to - now I only take the odd Gaviscon tablet after a heavy night on the wine! :o

Thanks for the welcome guys :)

Weigh in went good lost 4 1/2lbs........ Felt good until the other 3 people started last week too, lost more than me, I know is not a race but still felt a bit :o:o

I work every Monday and have to go class straight from there, so will always be in the same uniform, and plan on having the same breakfast and lunch each week and then I know where I am

Anybody got any good tips for any aldi food? Free or low syn? That's where I do my shopping and am trying to stock up on little ideas

Planning on doing a weeks menu tomorrow, as think that really helps me

That's a fab loss, no matter what anyone else has lost! I get most of my stuff in Aldi - some favourites are the frozen Thai marinated chicken pieces and the frozen black forest and summer berries, both free. In the last few weeks I've been buying the Yoomoo chocolate and vanilla frozen yogurt - the 100g tubs were 99p but last week they had the last of them going for 50p so I got 4 :) They're 6.5 syns a pot but I can honestly say I couldn't tell the difference between that and ice cream, and having the entire pot felt like a real treat!

    Morning All :j

Inazuma it was a bit stupid, and you are a bit of an idiot, but ho hum do you know what? You didn't kill anyone. No one died. You ate some chocolate, quite a big bar I grant you, but you ate some chocolate. When I do that Mr Frog says "well, good, was it nice? Good, let's move on then" It's such an irrelevance to 'normal' people, but it's always the end of the world for us isn't it? Because we're a bit mental :D Now you know what the others will say, let's all draw a line __________________________________________

I'm sorry but this made me :rotfl: - why don't you tell it like it really is, lol! You're right though, to 'normal' people it's like, er, what's the big deal. Maybe there's something we can learn from that - our leader is always talking about 'binning the guilt' and although that's something I've not managed to master yet, she's right. Hope you're not beating yourself up Inazuma, it's done and that's that.

Happy anniversary for tomorrow Maman and Mr. Maman :)

Another 1.5 off for me this week, now only 11lbs to (first) target. Got 6 weeks to hols so could in theory do it but got a weekend away in France for a wedding in that time, so we'll see if I can speed it up a bit on the other weeks to make up for it!

Have a good day all :)

ETA - forgot to say that although I don't go much by BMI, I've now just nudged into the 'healthy' category, hurrah!

Cherryscone I know exactly how you feel.

My weightloss seems to have stalled to a halt and I seem to have lost all motivation.

I'd a sts last night which wasn't surprising after what I ate over the weekend.

Anyway back to a positive attitude this morning hoping to find a way to bring the motivation back.

Hopefully the rain will stay off tonight so I can get out for a walk.

I can't remember who mentioned the blog 'A girl called Jack' but thank you to who ever it was - fascinating reading & i am sure that most of the recipes can be made SW friendly (albiet slightly more expensive!)

Still going to SW group - still part of the social team - although not following the plan - most of my meals are still made the SW way (if i cook!) but snacking & drinks are not going to plan (way too much milk!)

So 1st 8lbs gained so far in 33 weeks - still get annoyed with myself for letting it get out of hand & annoyed at other people that keep saying i have an excuse - it's not an excuse though - if anything i should be even more careful with what i eat to make sure bean gets all the nutrients they need

    Sorry for the rant

Everyone seems to be on the right track - glad you sticking to plan Frogga

Keep up the good work x

I've made the salmon pasta with a kick from A Girl Called Jack already & it was YUM! Added some pea's & smoked salmon trimmings too but would also be good with small value prawns ;)

 WELL! Weigh in after holiday & I put on *drumroll please* - 1lb!!! :D If I'd gone all out it could easily have been 7lbs but I did make good choices & regularly had my pudding rice & yoghurt breakfast which kept me fuller for longer .

Thought I would be disappointed at my first gain since restarting SW, but actually I'm just really glad I haven't undone any hard work - maybe the run yesterday helped ;)

Good luck anyone else who's got WI - 20 weighin's until Christmas so let's get it on - I want to get AT LEAST 30lbs off :santa2::rudolf::xmassmile:snow_laug:xmassign: :xmastree: :snow_grin

Been really struggling with sticking to plan this week - finding it a bit "samey" - after all I've been doing it for 3 years now. Got to target ages ago but then had problems with medication and put most of it back on again. Have very slowly been losing it again and now just 5lb off to get back to target (only need 2lb to get back into target range but it seems such a struggle.

    Having a Red day today:

B - wasn't hungry so just had a banana and a coupe of cups of tea
    L - smoked salmon, crabsticks & prawns, HEB1 bread, beetroot & cucumber
D - prawn cocktail (1 syn for light mayo). Mince cooked with loads of veg; HEB2 potato.

HEA - milk throughout the day in tea

    Syns 6.5:
    Mayo - 1
    Low fat spread - 2
    Lolly - 3.5
