That's great news Aero, well done both of you

Got very annoyed with my dinner tonight. I had pasta just for a change, (although I was secretly longing for a jacket pot and beans) and it kept slipping off my fork. I hate slippery food. It took ages to eat it. I want to shovel my dinner down quick just in case the world apocolypse happens before I've eaten it all. You can't do that with tagliatelli

Have brushed my teeth now to try and stop SOWD (Sabotage On Weigh Day)

Oh, fed up today. Not organised so skipped breakfast, nibbled for lunch and at 4pm caved in and had a bar of Fruit and Nut because I couldn't think of anything else. What sort of stupid excuse is that? Now I'm cross about that and it's made me snappy at home. Idiot.

Sorry, just needed to let off some frustration.

Inazuma don't beat yourself up over it onwards and upwards

Look at it another way Ill bet that before you would have had that same bar of chocolate- or if you were like me why stop at one:eek:

the fact that you are conscious of it and know you should not have is great in itself Draw a line under it and continue :T

what a brilliant weight loss Appreciate others may have lost more than you but I bet if they hadn,t that you would have been really pleased with the 4.5 lbs

Pick up 9 half pounds of butter or lard that's gone off you when you think of it like that it gives you a sense of perspective

Here's to another fab week for you :)

    Hi Tracey, thanks for that
  • Hi everyone,

Do you mind if I join? My OH and I have been doing SW at home for the past two weeks using my old recipe books and class booklets. We're exercising (doing the Insanity workouts) and the weight isn't coming off as fast as I thought/ hoped it would. I've lost 3.5lbs (lost nothing last week- pre-af bloat I think) and OH has lost 5lbs. I'm currently 13st 1lb (BMI 29.55) and would like to get down to 11st (BMI 24.88). I don't *think* I'll get there but it's a long term goal- I'm awaiting IVF so HAVE to be at least 9lbs lighter to start (BMI less than 29 on hospital scales so accounting for that too!). I'm worried that I'll be delayed for treatment without losing more weight quicker.

If you all don't mind I'll post my daily food here each night which will hopefully keep me on track. If you can see areas where I can improve I'd really appreciate it!
  • Breakfast: 2 slices toast HEB with banana. Snack: Grapes.
Lunch: Asparagus and 5 cubes of appetina light- not sure now many syns that is!
Tea: Mushroom lasagne (3.5 syns), salad, brocolli.
Pudding: Ameretti and Almond Terrine (3.5 syns)
Drinks: water, SF cordial, black coffee and peppermint tea.
