Magicbucks, I do sometimes find a gain of a few pounds suddenly like yours comes off very quickly if you get straight back on plan and are strict with it.

Pennylane, I can only find Rivercote crispbread, maybe you'll have to put all the nutritional info from the packaging in and use the syns calculator.

Maman, very pleased to hear about your pret a manger salad, I always struggle when out like this and end up not having anything and end up cross and grumpy or having a sod it moment and undoing a lot of hard work.

Anyone got any other suggestions for eating on the hoof?

Cherryscone - what can I say, except me too? I am hanging on by my fingertips at the moment and find this site and people like Frogga (who is doing it right and getting results) really inspirational. Even on my bad days, I try to log in just to catch up with how people are doing, and we all have good and bad patches. Mine (and your too by the sound of it!) just go on a bit longer than most! Are you going to classes or trying it on your own?

S*bway do salads and a lot of them are free on original and extra easy without dressing such as chicken breast, ham salad, turkey breast, turkey breast and ham.

They also do a veggie delite salad which is free on extra easy and green with no dressing.

If you wanted dressing they do light mayo which is 3 syns per serving or ranch dressing which is 2 syns per serving. I don't think this is too bad and much less syns then a sandwich.

Hi all, I'm back! Had a lovely 2 weeks in Scotland & tried to be on track as much as possible, but have also had takeaway, pizza, burrito's & Cheerios (& not counted any days syns!!)!

My scales tell me I've put on about 5lbs, so back on track now & see if I can get that down to 3.5lbs for weigh in on Tuesday!

It'll be my first gain, but I'm not as disappointed as I thought I might be as we've had a lovely time - plus I could have done a LOT more damage if I'd just said 'sod it'!!

I haven't read back yet, but I hope everyone's well :D I'm actually looking forward to getting back on track & my fruit salads & lunch salads :D

Frogga - pleased don't be disappointed with 2lb - it's a really good loss. Slimming World themselves say 1-2lb a week is what you should be able to achieve. It's far better coming off at that rate than losing quickly as it's more likely to stay off.

I'm really struggling, particularly at weekends! I think I need to cut back the alcohol syns at the weekends as I keep going over, particularly when we go away, which we have been every weekend recently; and will be away again next weekend!

I stick to SW foodwise every day - it's just those alcohol ones!

    Having a green day today:

B - Toast and marmite (HEB); strawberries & melon
    L - Mushroom omlette, salad
    D - Sausage & bean casserole (3.5 syns)

    Evening snack: Ryvita & cheese

HEA1 - milk in tea throughout day
    HEB2 - slice of cheese
    HEB1 - 2 WM Nimble for toast
    HEB2 - 3 Ryvita

    Syns: Sausage (1) 3.5
    Lolly 3.5

Haha, I didn't spot the typo, although I'm sure if we wanted to eat mice they would be low in fat  _pale_

Just re cost, I find I sometimes end up with opened jars in the fridge with half the stuff left in, and a warning on the jar to consume within three days - I wouldn't be eating anything else if I did that. Would you still eat it? and how long over the date would you go?

until it smells, looks or tastes 'off' or goes mouldy / furry :D

Same as Mich, I don't take any notice of labels - I have been known on several occasions to pick a bit of fur off the top of pesto, test a non-furry bit to see if it's ok, and use it anyway!

WI tonight - been away for the weekend and stuck to it, and a sneaky peek this morning suggests a loss but we'll see later!

Have a good day folks :)

checking to see if I can post...

.....oh horray! I kept getting the message that someone had reported me for eating SPAM! I'm a commited veggie, I don't even sniff bacon sarnies ~ I've never eaten spam in my life!

Will be slightly wobbly today. I felt so thin, then getting on the scales to be told I'm still over 3 stone overweight is sobering. Will need to really concentrate and hold on tight today or I shall fall off the wagon when we go round a bend.

I'm glad it wasn't just me who was banned from the site yesterday!:rotfl:

2lbs really is a good loss, be proud of yourself. I just wanted to tell you that I had 3st 2.5lbs to lose when I started SW. I lost it in just about 9 months at an average of less than 1.5lbs a week ( a mixture of big losses, small losses,STS, gains). I'm telling you this (not to boast:o) but that in 9 months time you could be at target. If you maintained that 2lb loss you'd be there even sooner. I know you're having a big push now that the school holidays are here. Why not do some menu planning now for September so you have ideas for lunches to take to school and recipes for evenings when you CBA. You're doing really well.:A

I've had scrambled egg on toast so far. Plenty of LO veg in fridge for lunch. I'm going to make curry with LO lamb for later.
A squirt of sauce on my eggs is all my syns so far and all planned for today.
