I agree with you on this It alway says that on salad cream mayo jams everything and unless it walks out of the fridge into the bin I think it's grand

Having said that I'm a bit funny about fish but most jar things I never find. Problem with I can honestly say that on the fridge we have large mango chutney from costco that is 9 months old and it tastes fine and pickle and piccalilli and wouldn't dream of firing them out

I know friends of mine that throw ANYThing passed its sell by date even yogurt and I said but yogurt is milk with bacteria made no difference

OH always says big difference between best before and use by dates more careful with use by

Is pineapple superspeed or just speed Frogga? I thought it was just speed.

Coincidentally I was eating pineapple at lunch time and the cleaner walked past saw it and said oh you shouldn't be eating that - its full of bad sugar.

My reply was and so was that McDonalds you had for your lunch yesterday.

People in my work all so annoying - they are all fitness and health experts of course (that's why they working in manual labour jobs) lol.

You can't bring anything in here at all for your lunch as the whole world has to know what you are having - does my head in.

Gosh the pmt is really kicking in today lol - but why can't people mind there own business. :rotfl:

    Hi Lantanna

I must admit that would drive me to distraction but then my irish sarcasm would kick in and. Would have to say something

I think it's the fear of missing out on something gene that they must all have you could always say that with a big grin on your face Ah so it's in your genes you've got the fear of missing out gene that's very rare you know :rotfl: but don't worry there s a cure for it being developed

All I'm just playing but it is amazing how when you take lunch into work people's necks become like giraffes checking it out :)

Thanks for the recipe Mich :j Looks quite easy, even for a frog. Not sure about cottage cheese though? It's a bit like someone already started eating it and then spat it out isn't it? Maybe it tastes and looks different once cooked?

I ALWAYS get comments from teachers in the staff room about my lunch. It's very annoying. I don't mind the 'ooo that looks nice Frogga' type comments, but I have one lady who calls my lunch my 'diet food' and says 'ooo your still being good'.

I have another issue with this lady wh consistantly asks me how much I've lost :o and I've never told her anything about my eating, and I make it quite clear without being rude that it's a private issue, and she asks again the next day  and to top this off, she's told new members of staff when I've just met them, that I've recently lost loads of weight and I've done so well!! I could kill her as it's really nice to meet people who didn't know and just thought I was normal ;)

I find I sometimes end up with opened jars in the fridge with half the stuff left in, and a warning on the jar to consume within three days - I wouldn't be eating anything else if I did that. QUOTE]

This is a problem I have. I buy the packet of Stir fry from sainsbugs but Mr Frog and the Tadpoles don't like it. So I have to have it for three days on the trot or it goes off. Still, I like it so I don't really care :D

frogga ~~ what a cheeky whatsit that woman sounds,
I would so not be so patient & polite that's for sure

Well I have been at target a year next week with a few ups & downs.Well ups :rotfl:
The difference this time is I am on the social team & go to class.
Last time round I stopped going to Scottish Slimmers & put it all back on very very quickly.
Bit depressing to think I will always have to go to class but that is what works for me.
That is in a nutshell is what it is all about~what works for us all on an individual basis.
Keep going lovely peeps~ if I can do it then you can

    Hi Beanielou

I agree with you sometimes people think they mean well but it has the adverse affect

A friend of mine has lost 6 stone so far and she still has a long way to go and is doing well The one thing she said when she told her friends she was doing it is please don't ask me about it I don't want to be any ones pet project

I'm like you Frogga if I meet someone new like you and the new teacher it's nice to think that you divulge any information that you want to not what they decide to

Here is a possible suggestion that may put things in perspective for her Next time she does a This is your life on you with a new intro ask her on the QT If someone had just got divorced or split up with someone recently had home repossessed etc etc would you give all those facts to a new person
Then why is it ok to say anything about my weight which is my private matter

Sorry I mean that to be helpful hope it sounds it
