Someone has really taken the hump with Aldi and looks like he is going to pursue them under the Equality Act 2010. He has a relative who works for the 'Disability Rights Commission' (I think he means - now - Equality and Human Rights Commission) with whom he is going to speak and then take legal advice.HI I got a fake looking parking ticket for parking in a Disabled bay over the allocated time and without a blue badge. I am going to sue both Aldi & Parking Eye under The Equality Act/Disability Discrimination Acts. Watch this space. I have contacted Sun, Star, The Express, The Guardian, BBC, Itv. Watch this Space.Paul Wheatley I am going through Popla. Then I am seeing speaking with my relative whom works for the Disability Rights Commission. I will be seeking legal advice and plan to sue Aldi Uk for Discrimination as you have not made reasonable adjustments.

As my grandmother used to tell me when I was young 'If you play with fire, sooner or later you will get burnt'. Aldi take note. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So glad to read that. A Supermarket certainly has such a case coming and I have encouraged people to try this for years! At least one poster has got 3-figure compensation from a Retail Park managing agent outside of court but no-one has YET gone as far as suing the Supermarket for indirect discrimination of a disabled person by failing to make reasonable adjustments of parking time.
GOOD.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It would appear to be upsetting Aldi somewhat. They now remove posts questioning their relationship with Parking Eye.
!
They removed mine too when I complained at first when I got the PE "fine"The first thing I did was to put it onto their FB.!!
This was before I had phoned them and they subsequently cancelled my "fine" makes you think that is IS getting through at last.?
Re Disabled Parking, the manager of my local Aldi said that if their registration numbers were submitted to the store they would not receive any letters at all from PE. At the time, I was asking that the same discretion was given to people in the store with toddlers and small chidren (the reason for my lengthy stay!!!) Not easy to get round in an hour and a half after a couple of trips to a loo and numerous distractions on the way round!0 -

I think it is slowly and partly because some of the "customers" are now complaining their Facebook page has been taken over by Parking Eye complaints. Of course there is only one outcome that will stop that !0 -
It looks like PE are slipping off the top of the Aldi facebook page just now!0

Just when you thought it was safe........
Here's one that has just popped up, yet another appalling incident, and these poor pensioners (regular Aldi customers) have duly sent their £40 cheque to PE and will have difficulty in finding money for next week's shop at Aldi - and all for an 11 minute overstay. We have overstayed our car parking in Aldi by 11 (yes eleven) minutes. This has cost us £40! We are pensioners who shop regularly in Aldi as we are on a tight budget. That's one week we can't afford to buy in now. There should be an option for paying a nominal fee if you are out of time - certainly not £4 per minute (or £7 if you challenge the fine). So disappointed.
Makes me feel sick to the core. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Bounce
Remember Parking Eye once installed ticket machines which you could only use if you had a current style number-plate, have a pre 2001 plate/private plate/foreign plate than it's tough, you will get an invoice as you couldn't input your details into the machine.0 -
What's this doing on page 2?0

And up it goes again.0
