A bounce just for our own little Aldi spy - Elizabeth Simpson who's intelligence linked Hovite to Dump Parking Eye but she's too lazy to sign up and post here !

  • I'd hate for this to fall off the first page because it shows the stupidity of some Aldi Facebook posters !

Here's the latest bit of the half-informed knowing nothing.
Sarah Smith I have no idea TTAPPC nor do I have any intention of finding out. But I do believe that the various comments made on the MSE forum about Aldi and about Elizabeth show you up for the nasty small minded people that you are. And I find Hovite's lumping together of all elderly people as having a disability purely because they are elderly incredibly offensive. And you all seem to genuinely believe that the tiny handful of anti Parking Eye posters posting the same old comments over and over will change Aldi's liaison with Parking Eye. It wont.

Nothing to do with 'disability' at all (and nowhere has Hovite 'lumped all elderly together as disabled') - but all to do with being 'elderly' - a Protected Characteristic under the Equality Act 2010.

Seems like Sarah, as well as Elizabeth, needs some education :)

  • What I find strange is they accuse us "anti-Parking Eye" people of talking drivel, clearly come here to read this link given they've linked Hovite with Dump Parking Eye with a banned Facebook poster yet NEVER put up a decent argument ( based on law and facts ) for Parking Eye to be there.

Hello - Elizabeth and Sarah :rotfl:

If you can't get your head around the law I suggest you continue to post the drivel "look what I had for my dinner" posts and leave the legal points to those of us that understand them

Quality post Hovite - I've looked at some of those 'look what I [STRIKE]vomited[/STRIKE] cooked last night' photos. Gagging!

Poor Aldi, they might be losing control of their car-park in a nearby town to the council in a development to try and increase parking for the town centre by merging 2 car-parks together.
No more Parking Eye, no more kick-backs for parking tickets.

Is this an example of parking issues starting to swamp Aldi and them not being able to 'keep up'? Or just a blatant disregard of and contempt for their customers?
hello ALDI. remember me? I complained about PARKING EYE at your Corporation Street Preston store. I think you may have removed my previous comment as I can no longer find it , well, just an update ref the ILLEGAL £85 fine I asked you to help with, I just though I would let you, and your customers know, that since your last email, saying that you had passed my details to your 'local person' , I have received yet ANOTHER letter from parking eye, informing me of the same fine. From your 'local person? I have received.. NOTHING... I have appealed to parking eye through their 'online appeal' as per their letter, enclosing the relevant evidence, and they haven't even bothered to acknowledge it. there MUST be some way of genuine shoppers being able to prove they actually shopped in your store AT THE TIME?? I really think you are treating genuine shoppers very very shoddily. I think its time to turn to MSE for advice. What are your thoughts on this?

I am not on facebook but has anyone asked Aldi for a comment about the illegal threat of 'wheelclamping' sign at Cambridge, as posted recently here?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
