Give me 50 quid and I'll tell you :rotfl:Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

A few weeks ago I mentioned that Parking Eye/Aldi were breaking planning laws, original planning consent was for 3 hrs , this has been "whittled" away over the years
Aldi's facebook page and their link to customer services , just produced a reply from 2 dragons, so I emailed their MD and also their PR company, with a suggestion of planning laws and possible rateable values for charging.
Phone call Tue morn , and I mentioned that my wife worked for "Johnson press" (evening newspapers in most towns) , and a simple email could get possibly 150-200 reporters doing FOI requests!
seems to have worked . See how the big boys fold.
What worked? And if there's a good story to be had, FOI requests should happen anyway.0 -
What worked was that ALDI cancelled the parking charge. See the letter illustrated on the above link. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Following my post on here 22/8/13 I received a letter today from Parking Eye confirming that my fine had been cancelled.
All I had done was phone Aldi Customer services when I got the invoice and told them why I had overstayed the hour and a half.
Aldi had cancelled my fine following my call.0 -
