What is needed against the likes of ALDI is something I think called 'crowdstorming'?
Arrange for lots of people to go into ALDI and fill loads of trolleys with frozen foods. Dawdle in the shop while the stuff thaws out. Then rush out saying, oops got to go or I'll be harassed for an unenforceable invoice.
That'll cost them.0 -
Who thinks Aldi will keep their promise of all day free parking at the new Aldi in Louth?

Can anyone confirm whether the Aldi on Kingston Road in Ewell have kept their promise that "The car park will also be open to any visitor of the shopping centre, not just customers of the food store and this is of significant benefit to the shopping centre and its long-term viability."0

As long as they get permission from ParkingEye :rotfl:
By the way - the link doesn't work. Maybe Aldi has ordered it to be taken down! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

A year or two down the line and they will get parking eye in with a 90 minute time limit, oh and for their customers only. More from the Aldi Facebook page,The car park management of my local (Mold) Aldi store state that they make no concessions to blue-badge holders! They can't even be bothered to mark out any designated disabled car park bays! Is that acceptable in North Wales' top market town? https://payments.parkingeye.co.uk/Info/BlueBadgeHolders0

"Yes Man from the council, in taking over this previously council-run car-park we will promise that it is 3 hours free parking for everybody, similar to other car-parks in the area, even put it in the planning permission"
18 months later, "90 minutes parking for store customers only" without the council even getting told about it.

Councils should be careful and enforce penalties for breaches, ranging from finanical to complete withdrawal of permission forcing the closure of the store.0
