Aldi Facebook Page Kicking Off after Parking Eye LBAs

Aldi have recently got planning permission to build a new store in Carnforth (Lancaster City Council planning ref is 13/00217/FUL) .
This quote is from the 'planning statement':6.27 The car park will accommodate 66 cars including 5 parent and child spaces and 3 accessibility spaces. Parking for 10 cycles will also be provided. An assessment of the proposed parking provision demonstrates that the anticipated parking demand associated with the proposed discount foodstore can be accommodated within the car park. Given the proximity of the Booths store it is highly likely that customers will also use the adjacent car park when shopping at Aldi and vice versa. There is also parking available in the town centre which shoppers are likely to use when undertaking linked trips.
6.28 A legal agreement attached to one of Booths planning permissions allows its car park to be used by customers for up to 2 hours so as to allow visitors to enjoy linked trips with the District Centre. It is anticipated that the Aldi car park will operate in a similar way and be secured by a legal agreement.
The planning decision notice states the following about parking:6. No part of the development shall be occupied or brought into use until the car parking areas shown on the approved plan(s) have been provided in full and are available for use. The car parking areas shall thereafter be kept available for the parking of cars at all times.
Reason: In the interests of highway safety and convenience.
7. The development hereby approved shall not be occupied or brought into use until a Car Park Management Strategy has been submitted to, and approved in writing by, the Local Planning Authority. The Strategy shall comprise the maximum duration of stay and enforcement procedures, which shall replicate the restrictions on the adjacent town centre car park. The car park shall only be operated in full accordance with the approved scheme.
Reason: To allow for the effective and efficient use of the parking areas.
The time limit for the town car park is 2 hours by the way.
Edit-nothing on the plans about ANPR cameras and parking signage!0 -

Seems the latest defence from the Aldi supporters is to claim their local branch is busier than ever.0

Which, if true, is likely to slow things down in store, generating even more 'FINES' (Aldi admit they are 'FINES') from PE - and more angst on FB from disgruntled customers. God help the likes of pensioner Wilf if stores are busier!
Short-sighted strategy from Aldi, generating a fortune for PE - lubbly jubbly, if you can get somePlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Interesting post by Ian Williamson on the Aldi FB page that PE took him to court and lost, costing them £190 in his expenses AND Aldi also having to stump up £110.

It is a comment to a post by John Butler on Saturday with a picture of a PE sign pointing out the miniscule font used for the T&Cs. It is a fair way down the page.0

Now their inbox is full so you cannot complain to Aldi via email as they suggest. Also, according to the Facebook page :-
"We don't expect people to spend longer in our store than 26 minutes -and we give them an hour & a half!"What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
