Who the hell is Rachel Organ? Just received a letter back from this Rachel Organ,Parking management dept, Aldi the tone of which has made me decide to boycott their stores probably for the rest of my life.

The tone of the letter was sarcastic and challenging. She clearly hadnt read my letter about an extortionate demand for a simple overstay and wrongly presumed I paid in cash in the shop, when I didnt even mention how I paid?

They can stuff it, the shop, their non existent customer services and the pathetic little company (ParkingEye) they are using to intimidate customers.

I happened to call into car phone warehouse yesterday and had a look for the other WiFi unit the camera unit is linked to.
Yep, bolted onto the Aldi store.
    Guilty as charged I'd say.

Opens up the prospect of genuine repeat visits to the relevant stores and landing a ticket for having the temerity to spend money there.

You say the cameras are WIFI connected ?
A simple phone app could block them.
    :rotfl:
    Be happy...;)

I have had dealings with dear Ratchel when I spoke to her on the phone a couple of weeks ago. She is very agressive, will not listen to what you are trying to say to her, and seems to have been brainwashed by Parking Eye. Not a very nice person at all.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?
  • Ossie48 could you post up the letter from Rachel organ pls?

Doubt it. Not from a phone. We use something similar and they can be pretty powerful units.
That said, i might pop down and check to see if any defaults have been left in place - you never know.

Whilst rather old technology, apparently a baseball bat is quite effective :rotfl:

Or get some 'kids' to play footy in the car-park and 'accidental' kicks the ball into the camera so that it moves.

Or go up a ladder late at night and put some super-glue onto the lens, so that it can't read number plates :rotfl:
