but congratulations for your 1000th post in 8 years.
you obviously have a lot to say!LOL!
  • Terrible company - would steer well clear! Excuse after excuse about where my parcel was (apparently it exported from U.K. THREE times!) and customer support was useless

Did it get to it's destination? Parcels are mis-sorted with lots of carriers, at least if you can see yours was exported 3 times it seems to have been comprehensively tracked.

Interparcel should be wiped out from the business arena. They are a cheap middle man with no customer's commitment or ethics.
I booked them for 3 suit cases. With all correct measurements, I paid in full by direct debit card for the 2 days delivery service.
They postponed the pick up five times over five weeks pretending that the DPD driver could not find my flat in "Zone One" Central London. With today's GPS technology, this is the biggest liar's tale.
I asked them to give my number to the DPD driver to call me for directions. They refused, under the excuse that DPD drivers have no company phone, therefore they won't call me.
This is another Liar's tale. I used DPD in the past, they delivered to most remote address and called me to confirm address' landmarks and availability.
They asked me to take my suit cases to a dropping point, we spoke to the person incharge to accept them. I went to the dropping point with my luggage. It was a supermarket. The man confirmed that it is a dropping point for DPD, but for small parcels only. He confirmed further that no one spoke to him from Interparcel. I returned home with my suit cases.
Finally, I was thinking between a court case or a refund. I opted for a refund because I consider them too low to enter a court room. Rather, they should be in a rubbish room.

I stopped using them years ago when they showed a package as delivered on their website when
it hadn't even been collected. Their response was pretty much 'Is my face bovvered'. Never again
  • I use interparcel when sending certain heavy items. I've sent out alot of picture frames and glass for picture frames and touch wood never had anything damaged but I select Royal Mail and deliver it to my post office for them to collect when it's something that is quite important. What I did find was when sending out small sheets of glass in bulk Interparcel contacted me on a couple of occasions literally after I had paid stating they do not cover glass deliveries even thought I'd paid extra for compensation and to find an alternative courier. None of their couriers cover for glass but I still send it through them but state the glass as a picture frame with glass and they don't contact me and I've never had any issues since. I sent to the scottish highlands with an estimated 3 days delivery and it took about 10 days. I contacted them and they didn't offer any compensation so wern't the most helpful but on another occasion I got free delivery when a driver didn't come to collect one day so I can't really complain. Parcel to Go and Interparcel are pretty much the same but if you use regularly you really need to find out who has the best customer service. Interparcel used to be very hard to contact but now I think there is a direct message service and phone number to contact them on.

Sadly most couriers now won't pay out for anything to do with glass, so laptops and TVs for instance (I send a lot of laptops in my business). Fortunately not had any issues but every time I email IP with a slight issue (normally it's just a delay of a day or two by UPS) they give no more info than I already explained and see in the tracking.

Real shame that clickandsendparcels went bust a few years back as they were far better with great contact.

If they lost your parcel and you had taken out adequate cover I’m sure they would reimburse you.
