Sorry, what nastiness as I can't see it?

There was none but it seems MSE has removed loads of posts. The only nastiness was from a user called SuzieSue.

The posts I made last weekend have all been removed.

They werent offensive either, I just wasnt happy at one poster deciding that if we didnt agree with the OP we had to be nasty.

I've had a post removed certainly.

I don't honk I've been accused of being nasty before. Sometimes holding unpopular opinion but never intentionally nasty.

I apologise to any one my opinion upset.

I have to say that anytime a boyfriend visited my mums house, she certainly never expected him to do chores.

And I wouldnt have waltzed into someone elses home and started doing chores there either.

I think part of the issue is unrealistic expectations of what this girl should be doing while shes staying.

I got the impression that the OP son's GF was practically living there which may be why she expected her to tidy up after herself.

Not sure if OP just wanted GF to take out her dirty cup/plate to the kitchen or whether she meant hoovering!

One is good manners, the other is a bit familiar and could be considered rude as if you were hinting the house was in need of a clean!

LOL Just remembered an epic episode from the past. :) My bro's long-time GF at the time spent all her spare time at our house and decided to descale our metal teapot one day while my mum was out. Mum was mortified at the idea the the GF thought that her teapot was in some way deficient and deeply offended at the GF's "cheek". She told that story for years! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
