Georgiesgirl - Don't be harsh the wife needs a carer because not only does she have terminal cancer but the brave woman has kept it from her kids and is selflessly having the strength to move house take the kids as well as enduring a drunk man who smashes up the house (in front of the kids) has physically manhandled her on several occasions, need I say more? it wouldn't be across the street I was moving to but the poor ex she has left behind has now taken to writing it all down by Samsung to here for advice, its all true though!0

Yes, that is true, but as you think she may be lying about having cancer, you can't apply to be a carer on that basis....somehow I think they might need proof....0 -

You need to sort out your finances and your health first. Go and sign on with the Jobcentre. Go on to the benefits board here perhaps and the DFW one too.Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0 -
Why would you want to care for her if she's "destroyed you"?
Let the professional carers do that. Or are you after claiming carer's allowance?
Sorry to be cynical but you're not making as much sense as you could, OP. And also - with an ESA claim - they're going to need proof.

I struggle to see how you can take umbridge at my post about the affect on your children. You have come on here and have said that you have been arrested twice, you drink and get angry to the point where you "push her around". You claim that your marriage has more downs than ups, that you trashed the house and the kids saw, and that your wife has taken money that was meant for the children. These are all your words, not mine!! You can't make these declarations and then get defensive when people tell you how awful you could be making the lives of your kids.
They probably do love school, because it's a place to get away from yours and your wife's behaviour!!! And I am so pleased that they have that!
You may have a love/hate relationship with your wife (edit: again your choice of words not mine), but which aspects of that kind of life do you think your children are more likely to remember? You hugging your wife, or you smashing up the tv in a fit of rage? I can certainly say that my boyfriend remembers the occasions he had to drag his mother off various members of his family much more than he can remember the "good" times.First home purchased 09/08/2013

Life is slowly slotting into place :beer:0 -
That`s very complicated situation, so I agree your main concern should be the children. apart from that you both need some help. I guess you are mature people and as such you should behave in an appropriate way.0

God I bet the first batch of kids he dumped for new set breathe a sigh of relief at the hell they could have endured! What a role model trashing the house in front of the kids, drinking, etc etc
Jezz Kyle gets you a free night in a hotel up west mate you may want to consider it, take the wife she deserves a break in her condition and the kids, think they even strategically place booze in the room to get the party started :T0
