Morning All...
Sorry for not checking in yesterday... I was on a planned night out with a friend for drinks. Drinks turned into Pizza as we were having such a nice time and I wasn't back until late.
I also confess to treating myself and a friend to a bacon sarnie and drinks in the work canteen as we needed cheering up!!!
See what a month off scripmping does??? Bad Abundant!
It means I'm over budget for the week on my spends - but still on target for the month (phew). It just means a tighter next few weeks.

Today will be a spend day as I meet my ex boss and an ex work colleague for lunch. Was thinking of utilising this spend day to pop into LIDL but was thinking we don't really need anything. Milk, fruit etc will be ok for another couple of days.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250

morning all,
Happy Birthday His Missus:beer:x
I'm still getting up to date with yesterday's posts, there's alot occuring....
Today will be SFD no 4;), yesterday food and petrol stocks were replenished so I am therefore not expecting to spend anything now until sunday. Spent 83p at Mr S but got £38 worth of stuff, no theft occured!!! Vouchers and Nectar points are a marvellous invention:T.
Yesterday also involved a little lunch, a bit more shopping, a new top and a trip to a big DIY store:o. I have lived in my house for 15 yrs now and still have the same bathroom (nowadays the sink and toilet cistern are cracked, bath taps wont turn, and its all pink.....).
Anyway I had a quote to do the whole thing and it was £3600:eek:, which at the time I thought was cheap. WRONG!!!! Anyway a few friends assured me I could get it done alot cheaper shopping around and getting different quotes for labour. So this is what Im doing and hope to get it all complete for about £2500 and it will be paid for upfront. Please don't send me to the naughty step NSK. Have bought a few things and got a labour quote so hoping to get it started end of June, beginning of July.

morning all, a couple of spendy days but today will be spend free.
Monday was a so-called salsa class via a wowcher deal, was absolutely not what was advertised but it's paid for so I'll go to the rest of the sessions. For £7 it's not too horrific
Tuesday I cracked after a difficult day and bought a bottle of wine. After just 4 days of no alcohol, I had a really grumpy morning after and it has put me right off bothering again! :j
Yesterday I had an interview with an agency so spent on bus fair. I also bought a special water bottle/case for running so I don't have to carry it (£6), and a pair of shoes sneaked into my life from Forever 21. They were £7 but mean I can recycle lots of summer stuff as they go with so many other things. My other summery shoes are black but these are very cheerful so although a stretch, I'm happy with them.
I made pizza dough yesterday too so I have a stash of pizza bases in the freezer ready for the next craving to strike :rotfl:
weekend is looking pretty good, I have a proper salsa night with some friends on Saturday as one of them is leaving the country in a couple of weeks. It's £10 to get in, but I'm going to drive as it's a bit of a fiddle to get to. This also means I won't need to spend too much on drinks as it'll be lemonade only0 -

Hehe - possibility of a SFD today - yesterday was pricey due to party and dinner.
Re friend - she normally lives in Tanzania the country but is back in the uk for a couple of weeks - ps I'm not a hobbit - Im too tall :rotfl:- although one of the dream houses I have spotted nearby (cant afford it) does look a little like it escaped from middle earth!!
Sun still shining here - work to do - onwards and upwards

Friend insisted (said we'd split three times and then gave up) on paying for dinner yesterday, so less spend than intedned too!:TBuffythedebtslayer wrote: »Evening.
Just watched Game of Thrones and found it very upsetting!!
Oh, I haven't watch that episode yet . . . now I'm nervous!I had a moment of weakness yesterday, QVC sent me a £5 voucher off a spend of £30. So I spent some time looking at their website, I know exactly what I want Liz Earle. The thing is the voucher expires on 30 June, and since that is a Sunday my next payday is 28th June. There is no other thing for it I will have to make some extra money in order to use the voucher. I went to the clearance section and put some nail varnish in my basket (as an Xmas pressie for my sister you understand) and a book on how to stay youthful. I then checked the basket to find only the book was there, thankfully this annoyance prompted a moment of clarity and I closed the website, Phew.
That's not a moment of weakness, that's a moment of strength - you should be proud.
Nothing much to report here, SFD planned for today, and hopefully tomorrow too. Very excited and must share with someone. Just been out for lunch to a newish tea room style cafe in town. Very posh for our dump of a place and my milkshake came in a glass milk bottle (pint size) with a straw. It was fabulous!0

There are some videos of folks watching this week's Game Of Thrones where one person has read the books and the others haven't. If you've made it to now without reading any spoilers, then congratulations!
Well, as suspected, eyes have deteriorated so needed to invest in some more glasses with the second pair as a BOGOF. Oh, and Nectar Points. Onwards and upwards, eh?‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

A friend who has read the books posted on F-book last week that this week's episode was going to change everything, so I knew it was an important one. Might try and get to it tonight.
From what I've heard I first read this:short_bird wrote: »Well, as suspected, eyes have deterioratedTotal debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150
