Hi everyone,
Congrats Yorkshiregirl for paying off that much, its a huge achievement
It was a lovely day up here yesterday but today the sun has yet to show its face, but at least its warm. DD3 has just bought table and chairs for outside so Im cleaning my old BBQ up for her to have, it doesn't get the use at my house anymore and is quite big, so she is taking over the responsibility of family BBQ's now, so at least it will save me money, just have to take desserts with me now:rotfl:
Another SFD for me, but I really need a couple of bits for cleaning Rosie out and antihists, but I will compile a list for tomorrow and go then. I really want to rack up as many SFD's as I can, so I have a running list on top of my microwave I keep adding to and then I can follow that, also I suppose bars of choc shouldnt be on it but at least writing it down and not buying is better than nipping out to the shops eating it and feeling guilty about using a SFD just cos I fancy it:):)
Anyway better go and get this BBQ out, Im taking it over to DD3's later as Im sitting new DGC3 whilst they go to the pictures - cant wait

Spendy day for me today: Dry cleaners, some craft supplies (to refresh summer wardrobe without buying a summer wardrobe:j) and dinner with a friend (planned) later. Dinner will be on (free) Tastecard 2for1 deal so hopefully won't be too expensive.
Also made my overpayment of £350 to CC today, so total debt now is down to £7510.27. Since this is so close to £7500 I am hoping to make at least £11 profit on some eBay bits I have up at the moment, to tip me under another marker!
Plus the sun is shining and a few more declutterings sent to the charity shop, so all in all good day . . .Total debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -
Had to do shopping today and had to buy things like fabric conditions cat food (biscuits and meat) and we bought 3 boxes of ice cream which we can hopefully enjoy along with the weather! So I spent £19.28 for the week for dd our cat and I. This was originally £60 per week and then recently has been reduced to £25 per week and so I strived to further reduce it this week!

Hi everyone, quick check in from me as I've got a personal training session with Davina booked in my lounge and keep putting it off.
Grrr thought we were ok bank balance wise then bank took our reward account fee out after I'd checked balance which put us over our free overdraft limit.
Positives are 2 SFDs and a £5 off Aldi voucher used tonight for food shopping. Oh, and a £25 June premium bonds win! We don't have much in the premium bonds but it's our wee emergency fund.
Mum's birthday on Friday so will start the cake tonight. She'll be thrilled with it.
Got a couple of hours in at the allotment last night so our strawberries are no longer lost in a sea of weeds. Right, away to exercise before I put it off again.
See you tomorrow

Hello all
Well it seems like the nice weather has brought out everyone's positive debt free attitude so long may it continue
Today I took DS to the local park and took a large picnic so I wouldn't be tempted to buy ice creams. Well it worked so another SFD :jwhich makes 2 in a row. Will be having a SFD again tomorrow as we only need to go out for me to have a blood test at the local infirmary. I'm currently on iron tablets so it's just to see if they are working. We can walk over so saving petrol/parking charges as well. Hopefully DS will allow me to pot on my seedlings tomorrow as well though as long as he has a spoon and some soil he's happy.
NSK my bump is doing fine thanks. It's definitely getting in the way of normal jobs now so am forced to take it easier at least. We have another scan next week so we can check on her growth which'll be nice. Unfortunately DS can't go as he's in preschool.
Off to prepare meal plan and shopping list for the weekend. I was considering doing an online shop but I'd have to spend over £25 which I want to try and avoid. Does anybody else do their food shopping online?TOTAL DEBT £12,212.46/£2000 paid offDebt Free Goal September 2017#106 Emergency Fund £482.53/£10000 -
£2705 is a terrific amount. Does anyone do what I do when they make an unexpectedly large (it's all relative) debt repayment, stare at the figure and think take that debts!
In fencing terms that would be En garde, marche, attaque
= On guard, advance, attack!
The above should probably have been a Spartan reference but it's all debt-slaying.
I LOVE THIS!!! I get a bit of a thrill every month when I see the numbers on my spreadsheet go down (even just a tiny bit) but I promise when I do a massive payment, I will definitely now will think En garde, Mache, Attaque!!:D:idea:LBM @1/4/13 £15,754

SFD #4 today - although to be honest, I've been so busy at work I didn't even get to have my lunch today.
Things are pretty bad and getting worse, I had to tell my colleague today that he wasn't allowed to take on a second job as Management disapproved. Really against my Money Saving Principles! Needless to say, job hunt has been stepped up with a vengence!
 Hi Jonesy88 - missed you! Hope that you get some R&R soon!
KrustyLouise - sounds like a pretty awesome day to me!
ThriftyLass- so dreadful seeing the flooding taking place in Europe. Thinking of you and hope that all of your community is safe.
hismissus - happy birthday for tomorrow, hope that you have something lovely planned!
I've got a planned spend day tomorrow as I'm out at a talk with my Dad, so I'm sure a cheeky beer will be in order before/after! See you back here tomorrow night though!:idea:LBM @1/4/13 £15,754
